I've got a T-Type groupset off another bike that I'm fitting to my Rail+ 9.7 and was thinking about installing the EP battery cable.
Is the install a straightforward job?
Do I need to remove the motor to attach the cable?

I've tried looking online but not managed to find any installation instructions for it.

From £1.99/month
I did this on a Specialized Creo SL. I had to remove the battery and motor in order to route the cable to the TCU. Also the cable for the shoe was too short and had the wrong connector, so I had to splice it to another cable (I used a phone charger cable) and then splice that to the device which plugs into the TCU. It's been a few months and I've had no problems with it.

Thanks.
It sounds like a bit of a pain so I might give it a miss and stick with just charging the AXS battery as normal.
