It looks like there's only an exception for Rotwild bikes. App knows ebike model. There is no setting for this in the app. I did all the updates myself, I just consulted with Rotwild's support team via email about everything. There was no point in taking it to my Rotwild dealer, I just went over it with him on the phone at the beginning (He had the same information anyway that I had from Rotwild's support team).
I received two links to the new version of the app from Rotwild Support. First didn't work (still 10% warning). So I think they were really just adding exceptions for different models, and the exception for my model wasn't set up correctly in the first version.
