The mentioned ebay seller ships worldwide so maybe have a look.

Yes, I did see that but it's always a risk shipping international (and can be time very consuming). It would not arrive in time for the expected build date so would have to go back and install it later which I could do but would rather get it all done at once. It still might be an option though. I can get the 955mm cable right now?

A word of caution to any Americans attempting to circumvent the sanctions - they will find you and they will fine you heavily if you order something like that from England, Canada, Germany, etc.

At some point later in your life you will receive a bill from UPS/FedEx/etc. demanding a tariff payment. The tariff itself will be loosely based on the great random number generator, but there is no limit to the added "processing fees" and no limit to the billing timeframe. You might get a bill for $100 within a few months, or maybe $100,000 30 years later. There's no way to know and no way to protect yourself. See r/UPS for countless examples.

Also note that shippers like UPS no longer deliver all international packages. A certain percentage are disposed of for not having their "papers in order". and UPS no longer accepts phone calls or emails so if your eBay seller doesn't quite get all the paperwork perfect, you'll have no way to prevent them from destroying the package.

Appreciate the info. There are no 780mm cables available in the US, the only thing I can get is the 955mm.

.
If you don't already have one, Fanatikbike has 780mm for sale in the US.

built my own Power Cable :)

Hi
Does anybody have an installation video or fotos on how to connect the cable to the battery. I have an Avinox motor on a Megamo Reason. Thanks

It connects to the motor using the "Expansion Port"
Motor needs to drop (not remove) for access, held by just two long bolts, no need to remove pedals or cranks.

The difficulty in fitting the cable is the Micro A plug is the same diameter as the mech cable so its pretty difficult to tape a inner mech cable to it to pull it throught the chainstay. The easiest way to do it after you have removed the motor completely is to remove the air from the shock and then remove the two bottom bolts that hold the chainstay bottom onto the frame - you need to remove the chain guide but thats easy. Then the chainstay drops back from the frame and gives clearance for the cable to be easily fed through the chainstay - if you take the wheels off and raise the bike vertically it drops straight through - easiest way to do it.

Why would you want to remove the chainstay? The hole in the front of the chainstay is huge and should be no problem to feed the wire thru.

Tip: If your feeder cable comes loose from the wire mid-chainstay, the old electrician's trick always works well - use a shop vac to suck some string thru.

I installed in 15minutes the axs cable (POWERTRAIN 780mm) between my avinox motor (bike: megamo reason) and my GX T TYPE AXS...
So easy, the cable go through the carbone base without any issue, the motor can be remove easely too (i just remove the chain ring because the big bolt which is behing it : my hexa key is too big to go thought the chainring)
I don't understand why some sellers propose the micro A Higo cable for the avinox motor when the Powertrains cable is OK.
There is plenty of space in the vertical tube to insert all the cables.

Just to confirm , as there have been some reports to the contrary. The existing cable works with the M2 and M2S.

So I have the cable in the op (the connector is 1 single pin)

I've got the m2s motor and had it out of the bike this morning to check and see if I could connect the axs cable. It does not fit. £109 wasted :(

you bought the 11.3018.028.001?

This is what I was told by Velduro, can't verify it it's correct as I'm yet to get an Avinox bike

00.3018.418.001 780mm Cable (Higo Z405 connector) is better if your bike comes after April.
I've read conflicting information regarding compatibility of the old one.

@Muff1tt can you compare the connector on the motor with the ones mentioned in the new transmission dh pdf?

I will contact escape bikes today
Can you post a photo of the end of the derailleur power cable coming out of the M2S ? If it looks like this. Then it's different to the old motor.

If it looks like this. It's the same as the old motor.
