I'm in China. Yesterday, amflow announced the selling price of px. The good news is: it's very cheap. But the bad news is: we got "lightweight" batteries and a 4A standard charger(unable to use 16A charger). According to the CCC certification regulations of our country, the battery capacity has been significantly reduced. Oh wow interesting that they sell the bike with these small batteries... from the web site the PX uses the FP330 and the PR the RS300.... these capacities would be great for a range extender but as a main battery with this powerful motor makes little sense.
Any new regulations in China that do not allow the standard batteries?

That size would be great to bring down the weight for people that don't do long rides.

I'm not a legal expert, but it seems that exceeding a certain capacity requires an electric bicycle license plate. I think no one wants their e-bike to have a rear license plate similar to that of a motorcycle

What is the announced price for the PX and PX Pro models? There are no prices on the official website.
If this is true I think it points to them trying to ration the 600wh and 800wh batteries for the markets that make them more money. I think Avinox have potentially shot themselves in the foot taking on so many brands at once. I think a lot of csuyomers will be frustrated with the long lead times on bikes that will have been announced 6-12 months in advance of actually being widely available. There's currently a massive gap now for other brands to swoop in.

Are those complaints and cancellations due to the small size of the new, Chinese market, battery, or something else?
From a consumer oriented perspective, that tiny battery on the most powerful motor really seems like an odd choice, unless they think the bulk of sales in China will be to people wanting to cruise their neighborhood and flat city parks or something like that. Even still, they make that SUV bike for those folks, and the PX is supposed to be the hard core MTB. I wonder if they will restrict the motor's output with different firmware to make it last a bit longer with that battery.
The only other explanation I could imagine would be if there was some government restriction on battery size due to battery fire risk, or a restriction on "wasting resources", but China seems to be all-in on electric vehicles of all sorts, so it would be odd if they are severely restricting bikes but allowing cars and scooters that I assume are using "normal" (to a westerner) size batteries.
Maybe that tiny battery is a penalty only imposed on people with a low "Social Credit Score"!

The low price is achieved by reducing the battery configuration, so more people hope for a larger battery and a normal price. However, there is still some good news. The official has withdrawn the battery-related information. There might be some changes, such as selling batteries and bicycle racks separately to avoid legal issues. But at least the 300wh and fp330 battery models already exist. (You can switch to the Chinese region on the website to check the TL, which says 300wh battery. Then switch to Uk, and you can see that the px battery fixing screws in the store are marked as supporting fp700 and fp330.）

If the FP330 battery can be used as a range extender, you can buy an FP700 separately and get 1000 watts)
