I think that all Avinox bikes have been updated today and should have Navigation.

Anyone check? I was using a beta version, be interested to see if final version is working OK!

I can't physically see if it works as I'm Spain just now but it's there in the app now as a "beta" feature on the mainstream app

Has the M1 had any other updates with the newer features that no one has talked about yet?

I've just updated the Avinox Ride app (Android v1.3.3) and now have navigation option. Have uploaded test GPX but not tried it on the bike yet.

Interestingly (perhaps) there is now an option under profile labelled 'Network Access Region' but no clarity on what that actually means.

Dunno if my M1 Forbidden just needs an update or if it isn't actually going to be available on the M1/ Older screen.

My bike (Amflow PL M1) updated first with the new map feature, it said I need to use the ride app to use the new feature.

About an hour later my android picked up the avinox ride app update and there is a new navigation option in the app with a local file or Kamoot account.

Amazing update for "old" bikes.

@Astro66 did you get another update for it to now work?

Update (app + motor SW, both are necessary) solved problem witch synchronization rear wheel diameter for non Amflow bikes.
Before update: In app I had 27,5"/710mm (correct value for Rotwild), but motor display showed 29" (default value after force delete all data)
After update: In app I had 27,5", motor display also correct value 710mm.

Mine is updating now.

As in it controls the amount of assist?

Hey guys. I dont have my bike yet but supper excited about this new feature!

What does it look like while riding? Right now i use my garmin fenix 6 for this. The small display does not bother me but the lack of detail makes it hard to discern what path to take sometimes

It's a nice to have but I find the gps signal is worse than a garmin watch/bike computer, can't really use it for strava as i get nonsense like this

That was last week on an M1, may just be mine that is faulty but i get straight line artifacts pretty much everyride, this was yesterday

So ...... It's not like having Google Maps on your bike. Here's the process.

1) You need to create a GPX file of a route you have either ridden or created. I used the free version of Trailforks on my PC.
2) Using Route Planner. Select a trail or a series of trails on Trailforks.
3) Select "Download GPX"
4) Send this file to your phone.
5) Open Avinox Ride
6) Select the Navigation Icon
7) Select the "Add new +" Icon.
8) Select the GPX file you just sent to the phone.
9) Once loaded, select the "Send to Device" button
10) It will then appear on the bike touchscreen

And you are done.

Un Farking believeable !!! It works. Avinox and DJI are farking brilliant !!!
Hold your horses ....... Maybe I got a little carried away with how well Avinox have done.

Loading a 1km route with 2 turns works well. Loading a 32km route with about 100 turns, completely locks the screen and your bike up. I tried twice.

So yep. Currently fairly useless.

That’s the same I had with Beta. Oh well, still some work to do. I think this is really promising, hopefully they can sort it quick.

Fingers crossed, I run my garmin with os maps loaded, and gpx routes all the time, if they can get that working and with good enough maps then I could loose the garmin

Could you please provide the bicycle log, route file, and phone model used so we can follow up on the issue? Also, Please also provide more details about the scenario in which the problem occurred.

Hi @guts.zhang - FYI everyone Gutz is on the Avinox dev team

Just installed the updated app. Have already updated the bike but I'm not able to have the navigation screen on my TCU. I've uploaded a gpx file into the app and then sent it to the device, the app states that the file is succesffully sent but I cannot see any navigation screem Am I doing wrong?
BTW Amflow PL - avinox M1

Loaded a 24 miles mainly off road loop onto mine and everything is working whilst the bike was stationary. Haven't tried it on the move yet though.
