Who is offering 5 years warranty on Avinox? Cheers! All I've heard is the standard M2 will be slightly more powerful than the M1, perhaps 130nm, not sure on watts. And there will be an SL version, no numbers mentioned.
This came from a Spanish store that's making YT videos and are offering 5 year warranties on Avinox systems. And the Avinox hater himself, Alex, has said the same thing. Apparently dropping in Feb 2026.
All just unsubstantiated rumors, but if you've seen something in an orderbook that gives them some weight.
The store is: ebike Guadarrama, in Spain, the owner offers 5 year warranty for the Avinox motor.Who is offering 5 years warranty on Avinox? Cheers!
Considering how well round one was out of the box, V2 will be interesting, I'm keeping the popcorn warm![]()
I would really like to see this aswell. Especially for the used market, as emtbs loose so much value as the tech gets older and it's very difficult to easily source replacement parts/ upgrades for the electronic side of the systems. What will be most interesting to see is if they keep the mounting the same so existing frames can use the newer motor. That would be a big counter position to the likes of Bosch and others who have historically treated their motor updates as whole new platforms with no backward compatibility.
Given all they do is make motors and don’t seem to have any big loyalty to specific brands like the other big players do, maybe we’ll get a chance to see it. Wouldn’t expect them to stick to 1 platform forever, but even if you got 2 generations of motors out of it that would be a huge win and help attract more people to the platform. To your point, being able to swap a brand new motor and possibly battery in a 3 or so year old bike would really help the second hand market for e-bikes versus its current state.I would really like to see this aswell. From an e-waste perspective, I'm not sure why this isn't more of a focus for brands.
Guys a prick , plain and simpleHa... reinforces why I prefer to listen to individuals personal ownership opinions rather than professional media marketers.

There are 2 new motors coming.
One as mentioned in the video, the other an updated more refined and powerfull m1.
How were you going to purchase the motor and battery, as Crestline wouldn't ship them overseas?I missed the first round of Crestline frames thanks to BA’s shit inflight WiFi. I was planning to get in on the January order but if there’s a new motor coming I’d rather wait. It’s looking like they’re doing the same thing they did in the drone world, constantly coming out with new stuff so the thing you bought a year ago is already the “old” tech.
afaik only the battery, the motor can be shipped with airplanesHow were you going to purchase the motor and battery, as Crestline wouldn't ship them overseas?
