Their site says “we ship worldwide.” Perhaps they need an asterisk?
The specifically cited it was "due to their agreement with Avinox". Implying Avinox required them to have after sales service network in the areas they are selling the ebike.

It does suck cause my GF needs a full power, burly bike and this fits the bill cause she needs 415 reach to fit her. Plus, I'd love to have one as well. haha

Every time I see a post, I comment, "make them available in the States!"

I was told by Atherton they aren't selling to the US because they don't have after purchase service network set up in the US. Maybe next year is what I was told.

That’s later than what I was told. I was told first run would be done by first week May. I am in first 20 bikes. If anyone I have not got my bike by end of first week may I will cancel. I need another bike to take to Spain with me then. I will just buy another AMflow pro to take with me, the bike is so good. I am running the slacker set up now it feels very stable but to responds well on the back end.
I really hope not, but I think they will get a lot of cancelations. People paid in full a fair bit before release. If they are then quite late, that's not great. I would love to see them succeed with it. Just seems a little disorganized

If that’s true, I’m losing confidence in Atherton Bikes’ ability to communicate, because they say in several places “now shipping worldwide.” The US Dollar site just cannot be found. A non working site is probably the worst possible way to communicate that you don’t do business with the US!

I agree. I tried to pre-order in the first round. No dice. Every time the website would just stop working after the first page of selections were made. Pre-order window closed. Shortly after that, 2nd batch of pre-ordering opened so I tried again, same deal. I contacted them asking for assistance ordering and they said they aren't selling the eeeb to the US. And after I pressed them a bit more, they gave me that reason and said they are working on it. 🤷‍♂️

Just tried to order one again and got the same thing. little red flag at the top left of the page, "something went wrong" It lets me put the bike in the cart and when I click check out, I get the "something went wrong" notification . Same as before.

Perhaps it went wrong because they're currently not selling to the US?

I imagine whilst the tariff orangutan is in charge, they won't sell in us. Make the bike too expensive and lots more paperwork/hassle etc.

In the distant future, could potentially have a us base. A machine there cnc'ing the bikes in America. So no tarrifs. Made in us

That’s what I’ve been explaining.

It’s not rocket science.

That's some imagination. 🙄

If so; the tariffs would be accomplishing their goal.

Someone that had been moved from phase 2 to 1 as someone cancelled was told June delivery. I would just call and ask as the dates seem all over the place. Communication has gone quiet again.

Just seeing if I can spare them another email, they must get a few , I'm early first batch.
Can't speculate on spec anymore, how about we pass the time guessing on the cause of the wait 🤭

I'm not sure how true this is. But I heard potentially they had very limited motors and batteries and were awaiting delivery of more. Then the war happened and shipments stopped. I know other bikes announced on the 9th also have had virtually no stock with the next. batches some way off. So it stands to reason it is down to that.

I just wish they were more open and communicated more. It was very hard to take when you have paid a large amount upfront in good faith.

I am in the first 20 bikes to be built. I rang last week and was told.

“ more information on delivery will be available shortly after the 9th, we expect the first bikes to be delivered end of this month and early next. But we will be in touch shortly after the embargo is lifted “

Well it’s now shortly after the embargo’s and have heard nothing,, it will be disappointing if we don’t hear something soon about a firm del date for those that have first build. I am tempted just to cancel and get another AMflow Pro as the bike is so good to ride, and take that to use and leave over in Spain for the summer. In my opinion we were good enough to pay the full amount upfront some time ago now, it’s not unreasonable to expect a confirmation of a delivery date very soon.

Even more so as we paid full for the bike that includes full build cost and there margin, months ago now. It’s only polite to keep customers informed. Let’s see if things improve.

They said they will be informing those in batch 1 of delivery dates this week. It's only Tuesday...

On Wed last week they sent out a group mail saying, 'in the coming days' they would confirm individual build slots.
I am hoping that I get ,a date soon and will give them a bit longer before contacting to ask.....
And I am hoping that the date is sooner rather than later......

I've had an email today giving a date 18th May. Can't wait now 😜
I think they said I was 9th in an IM a couple of weeks ago
Yeah, the excitement is too much...do you know whereabouts in batch one you are 👀

Oh yeah, I see it now 🤦‍♀️
I misread your message and thought it was a change of date from the 9th to the 18th, too excited to concentrate 🫠
