Atherton S170.E Dyf-E bike coming soon...

on a four year old 625w Bosch gen4. Last time I looked, about 6% of the battery had left the chat
I don't want to derail this thread, but Rusty are you saying that your battery now has only 94% of its original capacity? If it's 4 years old I'm guessing it might be a pre-smart system (like mine) so just wondering how you were able to check battery capacity. Thanks.

Bosch make a battery tester but it costs £££ so usually only dealers have them. I had mine tested at 3700 miles & it came back at 94% capacity.

ETA Yes it's the non smart system & I would guess by now it's likely down to around 85-90% capacity as the bike is now on 6500 miles.

You quoted on post #218 FULL SIZED BATTERY. Did you even read what you underlined ? Do you feel stupid ? Do you actually ride or just come here to talk nonsense ?

Full sized could be... full sized, aka 800w not the mid 600w.
no but i live in reality and know that there is currently no magic cell available which would be needed to fit such a large capacity battery in such a thin round tube

i‘m german btw
We all have our problems in life

I'd rather be an Australian in Australia today, the weather has been shit for years here.

ok guys,

Firstly, I'm sure you've all been told in the past - it's not how big your downtube is, it's what you do with it.

Secondly, lets show a little more sympathy and patience for each others mental imperfections and possibly, place of birth... am I really even writing this on a Mountain bike forum ?

Maybe, just maybe, you could talk about what a great bike this might be ? I mean, you don't have to - I'm just throwing it out there as an idea.

remember when bikes didnt have motors and batteries? Lot less to aruge about. anyways its obviously the old stock of canyon faulty baterys shaved up into pieces in the cylinder shaped downtube.

I coming back in 2 weeks, 29yrs in Belfast, 25 in Aussie land.... we have a spell of 4 days at 40°C over the next 4 days. Luckily the eeb allows me to ride in hot weather.

It feels almost inevitable, that the stars have aligned for you, and the Atherton E-bike will soon be in your garage. Don’t fight it, buy it….

Edit: This was meant to be under @Weeksy post!

I do love the provisional wing of the Yorkshire republican army banging on about God's country. None of you Arkwrights ever mention Barnsley or Wakey, it's all Harrogate, York & the dales eh lads. 😉

i own one and spend more time talking about them than riding them. Normals still my go to
:D
Thats what all my mates said, give it a couple of months in the UK mud & slush and they only turn up with the Eeeb for some reason.
