Ari Explorer Peak available in two specs Shimano 11 speed or SRAM GX 12sd Eagle, and option for a Mantou Mastodon fork instead of, or in addition to a carbon fork.

They also have a SL bike that looks nice, too bad they went with the Fazua drive system.

Such a small market, I wonder why they bothered? Every time I've ridden a fat bike on dirt, I feel like I'm riding a tractor. Every time I've ridden a fat bike on snow, I'd rather have been on skis. Not my thing.

For the record, I'm a Fezzari fan. Nice bikes.

You think that’s nuts, check out Foes racing sight.

Or just go right to the best, the full carbon LaMere eSummit built any way you like. In our humble opinion any eBike that is not full suspension is a huge bummer. Also any eBike without a speed motor that limits you to just 18mph is also a huge bummer.

Hi, Lamere cycles! Love your LaMere eSummit carbon. Genuinely would like to own one someday. It is as you say the ultimate spec full suspension e-fatbike. My finances just can't mange at the moment. So for now I have to go for something a little more affordable! One day in the future I hope.

I'm currently seriously considering the Explorer Peak. In a large Ari stated the Comp as weighing 42 lbs and the Elite as 41 lbs. I can't be bothered to do the metric conversion for everyone outside the US :) They also claim the 720wh battery will last 3.5 hours at around 10F.

Currently my fat bike weighs 36 lbs so if I went Comp, gaining just 6lbs and 3.5 hours of pedal assist for the winter (of which we get a good solid 4 months of the white stuff) is alluring.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The bike is not my price bracket, but any new fatbike is always welcome. I hope they meet their sales expectations!

Anybody buy one of these ARI fatbike it like 10 pounds lighter than my bike? I bought a RM Blizzard powerplay a50 and it a game changer in winter were I live in Canada. Like a 4x4 truck compared to a regular e-bike with studs.

I have an Explorer Peak Comp. Mine weighed 51lb 10oz with no pedals and tubes. So completely stock. It was not 42 lbs as originally claimed to me, and later I checked again, they claimed 48lbs. Being nearly 52lb actual for a large is disappointing but the bike still rides very well.

But, mine was delivered with an issue so I’m waiting on Ari to resolve this. I’ve also got XT Di2 on mine as an upgrade from Ari.

Ari Explorer Peak | A great looking e-fat bike but I have a battery Issue..

Before I discovered the battery issue, which I think was damaged in shipping to me, in my limited test riding the bike seemed impressive.

how much does this fat weigh

My weight 52 pounds Rocky Mountain Blizzard powerplay a50. That ARI if 42 pounds sounded amazing. I already blew my rear hub with 140km in 3 weeks. Which kinda sucks and it a good hub Swiss 350. These e-bike fatbike put huge strain on rear hubs.

No, the Ari is around 51.7 lbs for the Comp. The Elite is about a 1 lb lighter. Removing the tubes might save some weight. The Ari has SunRingle hubs with steel cassettes and axles.

Can we just get hubs that last? That would very cool.

I just found out why rear swiss 350 hub failed. It had too much grease in it and the wrong grease for cold conditions which I was riding bike in. Just the tips were engaging and had stripped the tips. So after I get new hub with lighter and less grease it should be good.

I've killed 2 i9's and a stock norco rear hub so far. Trying the dt next. I'll make sure it's lightly greased, thanks.
