Conessione con Garmin, riuscire a vedere i sensori di velocità e potenza, magari anche trasferire lo schermo con mappe sulla Amflow

  • Increase the safe battery temperature limit.
  • Add an option to display the battery temperature on the bike's display, similar to how the motor temperature is shown.
  • Slow battery charge option

I'd like to see 3 second average power option for both the rider and power unit options on the display screen.

Garmin has this and it is very useful. Instantaneous readings like we have now are of very limited usefulness since they jump around so much.

Garmin integration would fix this for me though without additional software changes from Avinox.

Does DJI not offer a ANT+ connection with the PWR profile? When I google it, it says yes. That's how I connect my Garmin to my Transition Relay.

Hey @Amflow_Support
I've had the idea to kind of collect ideas and requests for your next update.

First thank you for the incredible release software with so much possibilities and excellent modulation of this powerhouse, also the nice first update including fine-tuning and wider range in all the modes!

Some points like trouble shooting are obvious with every update,
some other points may already be well known to you:

1) Customize / Change the support mode order
2) Start bike in last used or favorite support mode
3) Option to connect rides/tracks from same day
4) Export track recordings as .gpx file

Here comes my personal wishlist:

5) Look into details of the recording, eg. tab on the track and see speed, power etc.

6) Option to limit certain modes to personal max. assist speed!
Why? One thing is to adapt when riding with Junior, many kids ebikes support limit is 20 kph.
The other advantage is to maximize range when fading out earlier in Eco.

Feel free to add to this list, let's make the best drive system even better ;)
this is a great list honestly. Those assist mode tweaks and data view ideas would make a big difference in daily use. I would love that GPX export too since it makes sharing and tracking rides way easier. Limiting assist speed per mode is smart for family rides and battery life. Hope the devs see this and take notes because these are solid quality of life updates.

Unfortunately not. A lot of people would like this but to my knowledge nobody even knows if the unit has the Ant+ hardware built-in let alone if will ever be enabled. I believe Fazua and TQ support it, Bosch & Avinox do not.

Interesting. According to the ANT+ website, the display does have ANT+ related hardware and can receive HR data: DJI Avinox Display - THIS IS ANT

I guess they have not implemented the LEV (ebike) or PWR (power meter) profile, which would be needed to transmit data like rider power, battery status, etc.

You're right. I forgot about reading that it accepted HRM data. I just tried it and was able to pair my Garmin HRM strap with the Amflow. But no joy in trying to get it to transmit PWR & Cadence to my Garmin Edge. But it seems the hardware is there so maybe they'll add it as some point.

I don't have an AMflow yet, but would it be cool to be able to have a trail map app on the Avinox screen so you don't have to use one on your phone to follow new trails?

As of October 2025:
please click the link! It is about ANT+ connectivity. The preview text shown is misleading…

adding unlimited custom profiles like eco, trail, auto, turbo

+ heartrate based motor assistance if it is possible

GPS accuracy is just awful. The route I took today has about 30 Strava segments on it. The Avinox was only accurate enough to record 4 of them. For a premium bike this is absolute garbage. I can do better on a bike a quarter of the price and a $600 garmin watch. Come one DJI. Do better.

I really like being able to assign the right controller buttons to change pages on the display. It would be nice if you would add a forward / reverse option so one could assign one to each button so you don't have to scroll through all your pages to get to the one you want.

You can easily do that under Settings >> Customize Controls on your display.

Since the bike now supports charge limit to save the battery - here is an improvement.
Feature:
If Charge limit is set, enable Full charge override:
Charge the bike to 100% without having to turn off charge limit and then having to turn it on again.
Setting the start time ( next 23 hrs) minimizes total time spent at 100%

Example
Say I have charge limit set to 80% for normal use but I have a big ride tomorrow at 8am. Bike will be at 80% through the night but needs the last 20% tomorrow morning (but not now) so I set the override to kick in at 7am - The bike will be fully charged by 8am and when I get home I just plug it in and it charges back to 80%

quick mockup below:
'Now' is a dropdown displaying the next 23 hrs

After clicking set

App then sends a pretty simple command to motor:
Disable charge limit at XX:00 and enable it again when bike reaches 100%

My bike lives in a shed at the bottom of the garden. I would love to be able to leave the bike plugged into the charger but it not be charging. Then, from the comfort/warmth of my house, enable charging via the app. Instead I have to go out to it shed & plug it in (first world problems I know!). A simple solution would be to extend the battery charge limits so I can leave the bike at 20% and then charge to full when I need it. However, I was told it is not ideal to leave it plugged into and on charge for long periods.

I think the ideal solution for charging optimization would be scheduled charging or triggering charging via the app (for connected bikes).

I'd like to see a "traction control" mode that detects wheel slip and manages power accordingly, but that is easy to turn on and off.

If shed is covered with a wifi signal, this is easily doable with wifi smart plug...

Yep, I thought about this. I do have coverage, and also do have WiFi plugs in there. However, it’s not 100% reliable so I thought it would be nicer within the app.
Thanks though - appreciate the suggestion (y)

Sure it would be nicer to have this functionality within the app (just like Teslas have), but my wifi smart plugs work 100% reliable ... if your not working reliable, then I guess you should be buying a better wifi smart plug or you have a poor wifi signal in your shed ... Consider smart wifi plug which also measures consumption, this way you can remotely check if it actually charges or not ...
