Hi all,

Was looking for some opinions on whether this is a good buy for my first embt. It's a Cube 140 HPC SL 2021. Bosch gen 4 and 625 battery. Full specs: CUBE PRODUCT ARCHIVE | CUBE Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC SL 625 desert´n´orange

I believe these originally retailed for around 4,500 euro. Offer is for 3600.

Purchased Jan 2021 so should have manufacturers warranty for a bit longer.

Has a Shimano XT M8100 12V thrown in but don't think these are worth much. Has done 1960km. Looks in decent condition to my untrained eye bar a few nicks and scratches and some spots of light rust (I think?).

Any opinions much appreciated.

It's got arguably the best motor and a decent capacity battery.

Personally, I'd be wary of the 34's but I'm a fat knacker with no finesse... :ROFLMAO:

As it is a bit of a sellers' market at the moment, you have to take what you can get.
I think it looks reasonable.
Looks like the sidewall of the front tyre is a bit trashed so you will have to invest about €50 for a new tyre
New price pf the current Race is €4399, and the Pro 625 is €3999. So, if you could afford it and get a new one you are better off. Otherwise, if you want it NOW, take what you can get.
Check the Carbon frame at the lower bushings, as a couple of people had problems there.

Agree up to a point with Dooms, 34's can be a bit marginal on a full ebike. I have them on my Jam2, thought about ditching them for 36's but for trail riding, they've been ok. If I was hitting up the bike parks, I would swap them, so it comes down to how you'll use the bike imo.

Otherwise, the bike looks tidy to me. As above, you won't have a warranty, but a bike is a bike, the bits that wear out are the same for any bike & wouldn't hold me back. The risk in a used ebike is the motor condition. This one has a few miles & I'd be tempted to send it off for a service if it were me.
