Adding and extra bottle or tool mount on the battery cover (no room in triangle)

i have a cube stereo hybrid and i'm thinking of adding a bottle/tool carrier mount drilled and bolted directly to the plastic battery cover up just below the release button, it shouldnt invalidate any warranty as im sure thats an easily replaceable part
has anyone else done this ?

Great place to collect dog shit. Adds to the flavour of the water no end.

Better still, use a 750ml bottle: it'll play music every time you land from a jump.
