i have an option to get a new Lyrik fork for the 500, offset is 42mm, has anyone done this and what are your thoughts, or should i stick to 51, my understanding is that it will be less maneuverable at lower speeds but more stable at higher speeds, i wouldn't want it to be much less playful though, is there much of a real world difference?

I put a Lyrik RCT3 on my e160 back in Feb.

Love the ride with it.

I replaced a 51mm offset fork.

I got a rockshox zeb with 42mm offset and can't say I noticed a difference at all. Mabey high level riders might , I was more chuffed at how smooth the new fork was!
