Could anybody advise me on what cassette and chain I need please
Bike is on original SLX 12 speed 10/51
These seem to be hard to get And I am not sure what tool I need to replace cassette . Any advice is appreciated .

CS M7100 cassette/ SLX M7100 chain or am XT 12 speed chain for better wear. Standard shimano cassette tool to remove the cassette

Hi would a 10/45 be ok as it’s currently 10/51

You will also need a chain whip (or some equivalent) to hold the cassette as you loosen the locking ring. And beer.
