The reason I ask is that I’m a bit of a mutant. 5’8”, but almost 33” inseam, so getting bikes to fit has always been a challenge. with the Amflow, I’m truly in between. My medium is too short, and the Large is a little too long. We ride really, really stupid steep uphills occasionally, what I really need is a longer rear center/chainstay length, as even with fairly low 25mm rise, the Amflow tends to loop out a little on stuff over 20% grade. The longer reach/top tube would help, but then make the bike harder to wheelie drop and manual, so everything is a compromise.
If I run a 35 rise bar, in order to keep the front end down on these ridiculously steep climbs, keeping enough weight on the rear times becomes problematic for finding traction. Especially on roots, loose duff, granular mineral soil, etc.
