I can't decide on which bike to buy. I like the fact the Whyte can be set up to mullet but love the look of the Mondraker.
Anybody ridden both or has any feed back would be great?

Not sure I'd buy a 10 year old bike ..

Not sure if it helps but I have a 2022 Crafty Carbon RR and a Kado Rsx.
The Crafty has been a great bike, very good quality but it’s a big feeling bike and a bit of a handful in tight stuff. Down really steep stuff it feels like you’re sat high up rather than in the bike.
It’s a nice roomy bike and great for plowing down stuff, very light and easy to pedal too so gives great range.
I always thought if the 2025 Crafty was a mullet it would be perfect and cure the parts I didn’t like about the bike.
Sadly it‘s 29 only and they seem to have made it longer too so it was a no for me.
I’ve had quite a few Whytes before and always found them to ride incredibly well. Their downside was always their weight. Was hoping they would make a carbon e180 but when they brought out the Kado I took a chance a bought one. Also liked the fact you can mullet it.
Anyway the bike is incredible, so fast and stable everywhere. It‘s easily the best ebike I’ve owned and fun to ride everywhere. I really cannot fault it.
I intended mulletting it near enough straight away but i won’t be in a rush as it’s so agile stock.
Really recommend it, it’s a stunning bike. I have rode an Amflow too😉

This is what I have been hearing. I absolutely love the crafty especially in the white, however as you say I'm hearing things about it not being so agile. Especially that seat post getting in the way. My none ebike is a Whyte and I can't fault it so I think I will definitely be looking at the kado rs. I appreciate your opinion 🤙🏻

Not praising as an owner as I'm really objective on bikes but the Crafty rides really really well and looks amazing at the same time, has one of the best battery removable system out there. I'm a 29er fan and for my 6 foot it fits really well. Maybe shorter riders mind the big wheel but never felt an issue. Jumps & pops really well while had an excelent stability going down. And as almost all reviewers mentioned, climbs like a goat

My Crafty R rides incredibly well, I absolutely love it 🤗 Upgraded It with Rockshox ultimate (Zeb/Super Deluxe with XL Air Can) suspension and XT Di2 electronic shifting - now it‘s perfect for me.

FWIW not sure which one you went with, but I was eying up the Mondrakers too. I never got chance to test ride one before I got my Kado but have had a ride of once since then. They ride pretty much the same generally speaking no night and day differences, only noticeable characteristics is the crafty felt more point and shoot and plough through every obstacle and didn't seem to want to respond to rider input in terms of last minute line choices, which tbh, isn't always necessarily a bad thing, it depends how you like to ride.

I also felt it was less balanced feeling than the kado on jumps and berms, like the low center of gravity thing on the Kado I find you can really feel it when popping off lips and and on corners, you can just feel it, like all the mass is at your ankles and it feels incredible, it's the best handling bike I've ever rode. However on low speed drops I don't like the way it feels thanks to the low CoG and the mondraker felt better in that regards, best way I can describe it is the kado wants to drop away underneath you and the crafty felt like it wanted to hold you up as you fell into it.. But on drops where you're carrying speed it eliminated that difference and both bikes then feel the same.

I'd have been happy long term with either, but I'm still glad I went with the Kado, I like to be quite active on the bike and the kado rewards that. I've found myself riding stuff on it I never dared on my analogue bikes because the handling and feedback gives you a lot of trust
