I pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered a 2020 Comp.... I am coming off a 2018 Turbo Levo and I'm psyched to move up. Has anyone done a 27.5/29" combo on their bikes? I'm still not convinced I want 29/29...
HI, Wich is the price? I live in Spain and usually we have expensive bikes than USA...I pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered a 2020 Comp.... I am coming off a 2018 Turbo Levo and I'm psyched to move up. Has anyone done a 27.5/29" combo on their bikes? I'm still not convinced I want 29/29...

Depends on the terrain, in our region : old dune area, tight turns, roots, 27,5x2,8 is a lot more nimble as 29x2,6 (even when those are on the light DT swiss carbon wheels)
Depends on the number and tightness of the turns. 29" is a little more stable, but does not go around the corners so fast.we have northeastern hard pack single track and rock, with a little mud mixed in for fun... what do you think?
I have to admit I was really happy to get off the 29 on my acoustic bike and go onto 27.5 on my ebike and new acoustic bike....Depends on the number and tightness of the turns. 29" is a little more stable, but does not go around the corners so fast.
FYI : I run the HX1501 27,5 wheelset, my friend uses the cheapest DT Swiss hybrid on his Rotwild RX and he is also happy.
On my acoustic Scott Spark RC the 29" wheels are superI have to admit I was really happy to get off the 29 on my acoustic bike and go onto 27.5 on my ebike and new acoustic bike....
