Other 2018 Turbo Levo Charger - anyone opened one up?

My charger has worked perfectly for the last four years but suddenly it has died on me. Have changed plug fuse, tried different mains lead etc.

Just wondering if anyone has ever opened one up and whether there might be a replaceable fuse in there.

There are four triangle head screws under the little rubber feet - I've had to order a tri screwdriver so I can't explore any further as yet.

Got to be worth look before I spend £95 on a new charger.

and no obvious user serviceable items inside. I can't see any evidence of broken wires or cracks to the PCB. There is no circuit board fuse or reset button either.

Worth a try though, and I now have have new set of triangle head screwdrivers to add to the toolkit.

Gonna have to shell out £95 for a new one I guess.

The led on the charger is not lighting up - it will light up red if there is no load connected or if the battery is part charged and green when fully charged. My battery is a about 60% charged at present.

Given the magnitude of the potential fire if an ebike battery/charger misbehaves, I would not risk a home repair unless you are experienced with Li-ion battery and charger design. Even if it was just a blown internal fuse, you have to ask what changed to cause the fuse to blow.

Update ... had to order a new charger at £95 but my fantastic LBS advised that Specialised would do me a 20% discount under their assisted purchase program. I just had to confirm ownership of the bike by showing the original sale receipt.

Always good to talk to your bike shop first rather than just order online!

It's always great to hear that there is an LBS that serves, sometimes it's worth more than gold.
