there's 2 things that could be wrong here, either the dropper or rear mech cables are in the wrong place, which pushes the battery forward a bit and makes it hard for the cover to go on
or the bottom plate with the battery connector is not in the correct position, there is a bit of adjustment as...
this doesn't sound like all the other Orbea claims I've heard of, the alumimium chainstays on the Wild FS are known for cracking and Orbea seem to just replace them for free no problems.
I've also completed 2 warranty claims (for parts) and both were done easily with no quibbling
Had a quick go on my friends bike this weekend (M20 same as mine) and it has some high rise bars which I don't really want but I did notice they didn't have as much upsweep and it felt better holding the bars. felt like they were straight and neutral, where as the bars I have now are at an...
on the spec sheet it lists them as MT420 brakes, but on my bike I have MT520 calipers and MT501 levers.
Went out with a friend today (who has the same bike) who noticed this, his has the 420's on, the levers look pretty crap TBH I'm glad I seem to have got a free upgrade!
the MT520's have been...
I think you want to adjust the bite point, or reduce the free stroke. there are levers out there that have the adjustability, normally the top of the range ones

whilst out today I noticed a horrible squeal / high pitched noise about 20km into my ride so I stopped, as it happens noticed 2/4 chainring bolts were just about to drop out they were so lose but I don't think that was related to the noise. tightened them up and carried on and the noise had...
no but when fitted my smashpot coil conversion into the 38 I think I *could have* configured it to give 170mm, but chose not to and just stuck with the 160mm
would be interested to see how it alters the geo, if it does?
what rear mudguard is that? looks ok for summer use.
is it just the sun on that pic or is it a lighter shade of grey than the new ones? looks super nice?
I had 4 in mine originaly, I tried 2 but found I had to run more pressure to keep it from sagging loads, I did spend a while trying to set it up but just couldn't figure it out so in the end I've fitted the smashpot coil conversion and I think thats fantastic. also fitted an Ohlins TTX22M and...
plenty of good info on this thread:
Orbea dissapointed ??♂️ - EMTB Forums
I'd buy a crank puller tool and the Bosch castle nut tool just incase they come loose and scupper your riding plans, you'll probably need them at some point anyway
defo get it invisiframed (thats not something specific...
I'm 193cm and have the Wild FS in XL and I find it big enough, It's the biggest bike I've had so far.
just looked at the Rise and the XL has a 500mm reach, surely that's plenty?

I actually misread I thought hainman had said that they fitted an Orbea dropper ?♂️
the numbers are still off though, just by a slightly smaller margin!
