Haha so true @maynard. I'm more a fan of TNG with Picard, DS9 and Voyager myself :p
It's the og command panel for the Yamaha PW. I initially meant to replace it but it's ergonomically sound and really, really robust.
Quick update, it turns out that my brand-x ascend II was facing the opposite way from the factory assembly. I just flipped it around while servicing it. Really weird.
That's why my actuator was on the rear left while my saddle/seatpost were all good. The actuator is now sitting front left.
So...
I might buy one in a few months. E-Bike Vision GmbH: PowerPack – compatible with the Yamaha PW series I've seen the 745Wh discounted around 680€. I might get the 620Wh tho, for the weight.
My battery is a 420Wh at 75% of life  .
Yeah I definitely wanted to clean everything inside the frame, the motor, inside the bashguard... Especially the outer and inner threads, the points of contacts frame/motor. It's a really quick job to dismount the motor and put it back on this bike. It wasn't even that dirty tbh, no shows of...
It's all in the title, if you experience creaking noise in the BB/motor area and if you've already check the cranks, pedals and chainring then the noise is probably simply coming from the motor bolts.
Just clean every threads in & out and torque the bolts at the correct Nm (22) with a bit of...
For what it's worth I'm pretty happy with bikespeed.de for my Yamaha. Someone recommended them to me a few years back, been using the chip since April 2017 without a problem.
The problem with my method is that it's fucking with the seatclamp. Right now I'm using a non QR Chromag seatclamp that I had to move slightly to the left, just to be able to close it.
It was even worse with the original QR seat clamp as I had to move it 180° around which isn't a nice...
@DynamicObserver
I got a set of nukeproof neutron.
Headsets | Nukeproof
Nukeproof Neutron Bottom Headset Cup | Chain Reaction Cycles
Pretty sure I bought the T2 top and B8 bottom.
Forks sounds like a nice fit for this bike. Although the original is 120mm.
I run 2.3 &/or 2.2/25. I have...
You bought new forks :) ?
At least the headtube is tapered lol. They sure went for the cheapest forks they could get away with. It's acceptable.
The original caged bearings aren't that great anyway (pretty sure I still have a ball somewhere in my frame haha), and the conical spacer in plastic...
Brand-x ascend dropper seat post :) You'll find many happy users if you search about it on these forums. Around 150€
I went for the external one and routed it in the top tube (I had to buy a new 2xholes cable grommet). I wasn't a fan of needing to drop the motor if something went wrong with the...
