so far I’d say the Eddy is the perfect all-rounder on almost all surfaces. Its
Pretty much a downhill casing so it’s heavy but takes a battering, and the tread is almost identical to the Magic Mary’s which were similar to typical motorcross Tyres for grip in mud and soft stuff. It does drag...
..Me too. Im 6ft and sized 'up' to an XL following the sizing guide on the YT site.
4 months later with a big mix of riding (im not an expert at anything!) and i wished i had an L instead. On more technical, twisty and slower trails, the XL Decoy 29 feels like the Titanic.
I certainly dont...
All, thanks for your input.
We dropped the motor and removed the speed sensor cable. I purchased the SM-DUE10 sensor as suggested above, but it turns out its actually a DUE11 cable thats used on these (for future ref) as the sensor is slightly different.
I managed to salvage the existing cable...
Hi All
had a bit of a nightmare tonight, long story short my pedal caught the speed sensor cable which was very slack as the clip h holding the cable had come off the inside of the swing arm. Ive spilt the cable in half just before it enters the frame.
It all powers on fine, but the WO11...
i forgot about this thread - i did indeed change the rear for an Eddy Current in 2.6. The front minion is still doing fine but when that's ready to change il get an Eddy up front too.
much prefer the Eddy. i ran it at 25psi first off and a tyre burp on my local DH track gave me another flat and...
Hi guys
second time I’ve had a puncture on my base 29 on the rear, this time denting my rim. I’m running the standard Minion DHR II 2.4 that came with the bike. I don’t rate it.
Looking at a new tyre for the rear, and il now purchase a cushcore.
do any of you guys have any recommendations for...
Defo agree with the lack of security with the SS. When out on a ride i suppose you have to remember to put the SS in your car as someone could steal that when your out on a ride let alone the bike attached to it at the services etc.
Nature of the beast with the sea sucker i think. i dont...
to be fair the Sea Sucker is a tried and tested rack - i see what your saying but if they are installed correctly i see no issue with paint (assuming common sense is used by putting the sucker on a clean non dirty / gritty surface) and the other suckers on the rear glass or boot / trunk lid...
have any of you guys used a Sea Sucker with your E Bikes? im considering one for my Decoy. 20kg limit on the sea sucker means a battery off job i think though.
