Thanks fellas, have been looking for one in oz online but can only seem to see a 36 tooth version, all the 34 s seem to be sold out, there are some alloy ones but are 3 times the money of a steel one so need to keep looking or ask where I bought the bike for a genuine Focus one. Have any of you...

Looking to overhaul my drive line on my now 2 year old Sam 6.9.
Got nearly all the components except the chain ring, looking at buying a Race Face one from Fox Australia as only one I can find but there is a section for chain line in mm's, one is 52mm and the other is 55mm's.
Anyone know what...
What size is your Thron as I still have the 3D printed guard for my Sam that doesn't fit mine, it's a medium and I have a large frame I think. Don't know how good it is but pretty sure I could find it if you have a medium frame
Hey David, up your way in the Glasshouse Mts, had a bash plate on my old Merida (shimano motor) and funnily enough it fits my Focus Sam pretty well. It did have a nicely made metal block and a couple of screws at the back of the bash plate on the Merida but have just cable tied it onto the Focus...
Just put a set of Miranda 155mm cranks on my '22 Sam 6.9, so pretty sure it's the same as yours with a bosch gen 4 motor. I measured it all up and on the Miranda website the talk about Q factor which is the distance the crank is bent outwards, see diagram
Mine was Q8 FB, cranks are fantastic and...
Thanks for the thoughts Mike, will definitely do some more research with mates and on line before taking the plunge. I'm pretty happy with the overall performance of the shock, just looking for a bit more small hit compliance.
Got a 2022 Sam2 6.9 with a Fox Van Performance Coil rear shock. Thinking of going down a progressive spring line and have been doing a bit of research and have come up with the following. Cane Creek 450-550lb x 65mm, looks around right as the standard shock came with a 450lb spring.
Wondering...
Got a creak down in the bottom bracket and it really felt like a pedal on the way out. Checked the pedal and sure enough there was a fair bit of lateral play in it. Tried nipping it up but to no avail, creak still there. Bit the bullet and bought new pedals only to find the creak still there...
There you go and it's even made in the UK so that'll double your chances of finding it over there.
NP158 Matte Latte sounds like the colour and even tho it's matte it looks great, I did buy some gloss clear too to put over the top if it stood out too much but have never thought it was worth it...
Mines exactly same colour. Will check it out tonight for you, but going by what I saw when I was looking for the correct colour, I ended up just taking a photo on my phone that looked exactly the same shade when put alongside the bike and then went around chemists, make-up shops but ended up...
Have a Sam 6.9 in the 'Espresso Brown', if you're only trying to touch up some stone chips, I found a nail polish that is pretty much a perfect match. Took three attempts to get the right colour but at only $2 each it's no biggy on the wallet and the results where fantastic.
My 2022 Sam 6.9, Saint pedals, mulleted with a Hope wheel, Ergon seat, Deity 35mm rise bars with Oury grips, Kiox display and controller, 220mm Hope float front rotor.
