Just a suggestion before you get to carried away. Have you tried a cotton bud and cleaner to make sure the connections are OK. I had some weird issues until forum said to do this on a regular basis.
I had loose cassette & it made a dreadful sound until I tightened it. Also, not so much a rattle but the specialized dropper post can clunk a little in the seat post part of the frame.
K, maybe I can answer my own question. looking at it again the holes around the thread are slightly pronounced acting as locators to line up the sprocket with the already oversized holes ready to accept chainring nuts. If anyone can just confirm this it would be appreciated but I'm pretty sure...
The chainring on my turbo levo is threaded. Replacement options seem not to be. If I use backing nuts to I need to drill out the holes in the crank to accommodate them. Any suggestions or alternatives etc please.
Help appreciated.
Cheers
When I take Ms 15yo riding she takes my levo & I'm back on the carbon comp. It's great! I can ride as far & fast as I like & the turbo looks after her. Win win & we both enjoy the ride. (I'm not the world's strongest rider ☹️ to be honest)
Everyone uses their power differently. I've just rolled over 6000km with 32 charges. 180km average. Ride a lot motor off enjoying scenery. But lts a blast when I do turn it on!

yes I measure my chain wear with a park tool.
I see several people seem to run three chains swapping them out. Seems like a good idea to me to even out wear. Is that why they do it or is there another reason?
Cheers
Put on a new chain and my smooth, quiet, sweet bike became noisy with chain clicking & slipping cogs.
Was perfect on old chain.
Had my bike 11 months & done 6000km(just 32 charges. I do a lot of analogue riding) .
Looks like I need new sprockets. ☹️I think this is my third chain.
Had/got three of them. All been fine. Have to admit I preferred the 3 position post. Bought my first one cheap as it was faulty. Cleaned it, put it together and worked perfectly.
After every ride (25-35km) I oil the chain with turps thinned 20/50 oil and then clean gears and chain thoroughly with towel, check the brakes. not much other than that. 2019 levo app 5500km. have washed it a few times but normally if muddy just give it a hose down. Now refuse to use dry lube. I...
Try actually cleaning with a cotton bud the inside of the charging port and giving a light oil. Some recommend dielectric grease but I use a little crc. watch you don't use an oil that will deteriorate the O ring.
Was frustrated with this happening badly. Always starting off or when under load. 11 tooth gear mostly. It was 80 % adjustment of derailleur end point with 20% derailleur alignment. Now gone completely.
Ps tried to video it to find issue but couldn't.
I'm 100%happy with my bike. One thing I find with the good motor is the more you load it the less noise it makes. Literally. By the time Its in 9 or 10 gear there is no noise at all! Will make vid if you like. Yours does still sound loud.
I commute on mine every day (only 20 km 12 miles). Because I'm trying to keep fit I use just enough assist to stop myself sweating. plus I try to do 30 to 80km of forest riding a week. Just done 2000km on 13 charges. 150 km average (93m) per 500wh battery
Thanks. Just asking as they show, at least for New Zealand, the available trails making planing a day easy, especially if I get off track.
Love the app. I particularly like being able to put in fine tuning instead of 5,10,15 etc. Cheers
