Turning them all off individually is different from airplane mode - that is the sledgehammer approach for everything, including GPS. I think these days as opposed to specifically turning on/off GPS it's "location", as it uses both GPS and wifi where it can to increase accuracy.

Why is it greed if somebody sells their 2nd hand bike to somebody for more than they paid for it - clearly the buyer is happy to pay the agreed amount, and it's likely that a like-for-like equivalent spec'd brand new bike will be thousands of pounds more expensive to buy now than it was 2 or 3...
I'd suggest you start at 24F/28R (as you're coming from such a high starting point), and then once you get a feel for that drop to 22F/26R and see if you prefer it. If you do, drop another 2 PSI and repeat until you don't like it, and then add the 2 PSI back in and you have your sweet spot.

This thread is about premiums for EMTB's, so not stating what the price is for analogue bikes makes the post irrelevant to the dicussion. If you'd said you're not prepared to pay an additional £2.50 premium on top of the alalogue price then that would have been a different matter.
I've got the same model gloves as the OP and mine are still as new after probably 30 rides, including chucking in the wash every couple of weeks, so seems like a faulty pair. Very poor service from Endura though!
I find the blue to be excellent on an analogue bike as it's really flowing with only a couple of reasonably hard work climbs, but on the emtb it's frustrating more often than enjoyable due to the 15.5mph cutoff, as you're hitting it constantly on many sections.
