Unfortunately the Carbon frame on these prevent the Speedfun kit from being installed properly. There's just not enough space to attach the electromagnet and refit the motor. The latest Cube's, Haibike's and Pivot's all seem to have more room making the install a bit easier.

Hi @jezza No it's not detectable. A 20mph limit reduces the chance of getting an error to virtually zero. VOLspeed set the max speed to 28mph so you'd be well under this limit. Hope this helps

Levociraptor Gen2 works on models with TCUs. If you have a TCD then PearTune is probably best.

Yes definitely - anything up to 45kmh if fine but you can keep it a bit lower to be extra safe. My company ships them globally so let me know if you'd like to order and I'll share a link with you.

I'd highly recommend upgrading from badass to a volspeed if you have a Performance Cx motor. Far more reliable and you can achieve the exact result you want (32kmh) & keep the use of your display. Send me a message if you have any more questions about them

Now that the max speed has been capped at 45kmh it's extremely unlikely that you'll get a 504 error now. Most of the time these errors happen when people use their bikes for commuting and consistently ride over the limit.
