Onyx vs other quiet hub options

I have the Onyx Classic hubs with ceramic bearings. Yes they are pricy, but to me there is no better hub out there. I love the instant engagement, and I never notice any kickback. They are super easy to maintain if you follow their videos. Yes you have to use special grease for the sprag...

For all you Bosch Smart System riders out there I can confirm that the Shimano XT M8260 Di2 wireless derailleur can be retro fitted to your bike. You will need a Shimano EW-PS300 cable to make it work. Either length will work I have the 1600mm due to it being the only one i could get. You...

If the Bosch Gen5 CX-R motor is hardwired to a SRAM Transmission, is there smart shift technology enabled? Like auto coast, and soft shift, etc.?

I installed the XT di2 to my Cannondale Moterra Neo. Had to take it to the dealer to have the HPP (high power port) turned on. Works great, going to be fun playing with all the options.

If the Bosch Gen5 CX-R motor is hardwired to a SRAM Transmission, is there smart shift technology enabled? Like auto coast, and soft shift, etc.?

Now why did you have to go and give a review on how great this upgrade is since I just convinced myself I don't need to do this upgrade for riding next year. (Sarc). Thanks for the info, there is not much I could find out there with the M8260/Bosch combo. Now I know what I want for my...

If the Bosch Gen5 CX-R motor is hardwired to a SRAM Transmission, is there smart shift technology enabled? Like auto coast, and soft shift, etc.?

I have found the Shimano derailleur for EMTP for sale but there is no description on if they come with a cable and I have not been able to find the cable we need for the connection to the derailleur to the Bosch motor even exists.

No problem, glad I could help. Make sure to check your rear triangle bolts occasionally. Also love that color of your bike.

Here is the owners manual. https://www.cannondale.com/-/media/files/manual-uploads/manuals/137373-rev1-cd-oms-my20-habit-neo-moterra-eng They are 25 NM. Your brackets should not be loose. Also be careful with the T40 bolts, the back ones are a PITA to get started. Cannondale sell...

    Cannondale Moterra 1,2,3 and SE

Not really. Just unplug all the wires and keep track of what ports they were plugged into. You can keep the cranks and chainring on. You will need a T25 Torx Plus Security bit for the mounting plate bolts. It’s really not bad to remove. I have the same bike and mine were loose and putting...

    Brake advise.

If you like big down hills, and going fast. Bite the bullet and get TRP EVO Pro brakes and rotors. The only thing you will have to worry about then is going over the bars if you grab too much brake.

    Ridewrap

I wrapped mine to protect the carbon frame. Have applied it to two bikes. First one was a PITA. Second was not so bad. I would do it again.

Purion 200 - Worth the Upgrade?

I did the switch and like it. You will have to have a dealer do a software conflict fix if you don’t want a warning sign every time you turn it on.

Small group of riders and ebike divide is growing :-(

I've done group rides with non ebikes. Never have I had a snark comment from the group. Depending on the group size, we split up the group on speed and I go with the faster group. Some in the fast group kill me on the downhills, but they love me pushing them on the trails and some try to keep...
