Levo Gen 3 Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit

After some native clatter problem with another coil shock I bought the TTX22 M2 too (with SAR coil because I don't like the yellow one). Is love at first sight . Work very well and is easy to set up. ZEB is coil too with Vorsprung Smashpot that is an amazing feeling as well !

EXT E-Storia knock/clunk at full extension?

I agree with you, unfortunately this noise at the end of the extension stroke seems to be a native characteristic of the E-Storia shock and cannot be solved. I installed the E-Storia on a Turbo Levo. I find it quite annoying too and it shouldn't be on a shock absorber that wants to be at the...

Levo Gen 3 Official Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

TRUE ! On Ebike a 54T Ratchet is not recommended due to the greater engine torque, in fact a friend who wanted to try burned it. Furthermore, more "free movement" of the freewheell may help to not have Pedal Kickback and let the rear suspension work better. Like if it were from an Ochain-spider...

Comment by 'MISTER HYDE' in article 'Shimano Error E299 (EP801/EP600) - Anti Tamper Motor Lockout'

I had used Shimano 8000 for 2 years on the Norco Sight VLT. Tried the new EP8 but it's not that different. Specialized's Brose has a lot more torque and climbs on technical trail where Shimano struggles. So already Shimano is an engine not up to the competition, if now it also puts all these...

Levo Gen 3 Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit

342 original and 355 with Link ? Is not what I check on my Levo and look post #253 too. I live in the Alps - Italy the DH are not certain fire road but technical trails and I am expert rider. ;) The link is more progressive and if the shock absorber compression is set right, there are no big...

Levo Gen 3 Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit

It doesn't seem right to me. Static is pretty much the same. With the long shock there is more SAG but the BB lower 3 mm more than original, so where are 15 mm ?? Only when fully compressed that happens rarely. You should argue better.

Levo Gen 3 Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit

Because original Specialized use 2.6" tires, if you change to 2.4" it's normal the BB is lower. One solution should be to set the fork to 170 with a neutral head angle.

Levo Gen 3 Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit

Identical when not compressed. I measured 2 mm BB difference static. If they say higher or lower 15mm static it's not possible. The wheel increases total travel by 15mm, so the bike sags a little more when fully compressed, but you hardly notice it. The advantage is that the suspension works...

Levo Gen 3 Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit

The Long Link is more progressive than original and so no bottoming. This is real, I've tested well and it only reaches full shock travel on jumps, no bottom. I use EXT coil shox.

Levo Gen 3 Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit

The geometry with Cascade Long Link is identical to the standard one. Increase total travel and all compressed will be 15mm more than original.

Levo Gen 3 Official Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

I was a fan of 29er since the beginning but now with E-bike I think Mullet is better. Really never had traction problem with the GEN3 ! And if you compare 2.3" x 29" ground footprint at the end is very similar to 2.6" x 27.50". Also 27.50" rear wheel on E-bike is stiffer than 29" that with the...

Levo Gen 3 Official Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

29er rear wheel on the GEN3 why ? The new rear design on the GEN3 is much better than the GEN2 which had a tendency to sit down. On the GEN3 there is an important anti-squat that helps the traction a lot. There is more traction on the GEN3 with a 27.50" wheel than with the 29" on the GEN2. The...

Levo Gen 3 Cascade Link 2022+ Levo Long Shock Kit

I have a Levo GEN3 comp on which I used EXT Storia with the original link. Works great. I didn't think but it's still better than the Cane Creek DB used previously. I have now mounted the long Link Cascade with EXT E-Bike shock. The suspension is even plush with more wheel grip, both downhill...

Norco Sight VLT2 or Specialized Levo Comp?

I have a Norco Sight vlt 2 since February. One of the first arrived. I am very satisfied with the performance: Norco know how to make great bike ! ? Before I had a Levo first version and thought to change with the new one but you know about several problems (carter's hole, suspension leverage)...
