    2019 Merida eOneSixty 900E-Saint ?

The model number should be on the caliper body itself I think? It is on my XT calipers. Check the Line-up chart here for all your part numbers: 2020-2021 SHIMANO Product Information Web. The Compatibility guide is useful when changing parts.

    Dropper requirement ?

I thought they were a bit gimicky but since I have had one I have changed my mind. Although I don't do anything really hardcore, because I run the seat post quite high, due to long legs and a dodgy knee, it definitely gets in the way if I don't push it down. I am certainly converted.

Ebike for very tall rider. Orbea Wild?

I'm on a Merida eOne-Twenty in Large at 6'3" (35" inside leg) which has a quoted reach of 455 and I feel very comfortable on it. I suppose I'm a more leisurely rider, but the XL version takes that to 475 reach. The latest XL eOne-Sixty is slightly stretched at 480.

    Home Servicing

Hi all It occurs to me that I ought to do a little more than just clean and lube my chain and wondered if anyone had a home servicing schedule that they adopt? I don't know whether I should be doing anything specific with the pivots for example (eOne-Twenty, by the way), and I read in a Merida...

    Improved quality of life

Completely agree with you, except the OS map rarely matches what is on the ground IME!! Still, has given me some good exploring opportunities and I now know I can lift the bike over wire fences!

New Voodoo/Halfords eMTBs.... look pretty darn good!

The Voodoo brand appears to be quite well thought of, designed by Joe Murray so that is all good! I think Halfords are the sole UK concessionary but it isn't an 'own brand' as such. Loads of clubs etc have 10% discount arrangements with them as well, so that helps, too. Only thing I found was...

    Good to hear.

Hi all - another new joiner!

Thanks :) There's a review on here of tyres and the e-wilds sound really good. I went for a tougher version of the DHR to replace the Rekon, but next time it will probably be e-wild or Eddy Current/Magic Mary combo. Hopefully get a few miles out of the Maxxis pair that I have. What I really...

Hey Dave. Details of mine are all above - it’s a Merida.

Hi all - another new joiner!

Had a few decent rides now, and apart from tearing a rear tyre on a rock and having to carry the bike home for a mile (my god, it's heavy) I am absolutely loving it. It's that feeling of just being able to choose where I want to go and then riding it, regardless of how steep it is. Takes me back...

10 things I have learned as a 49 year old after a week of owning an e-mtb

There are a couple of us over Marlborough way, but yeah, I haven't seen any eMTBs while I've been out. And yes, those nettles seem to be pretty vicious right now!

Hi all - another new joiner!

A Merida eOne-Twenty 900E. Didn't set out to go for Di2 but the deal was too good to turn down and there seemed to be no 900 models (mechanical XT) left in stock. Originally planned to get the 800 model which is where the E8000 motor starts in the range, but the small difference in price was...
