Try a TCU reset. Plenty of instructions on YouTube for it.

No problem with doing that. They only get damaged by lifting the bike by the saddle with the dropper down. I seen a few get broken like that.

There’s a battery and motor update for SL’s as well. Has anyone done it and noticed any difference?

I have got one and it’s nice little bit of kit. It’s more expensive than an Allen key but it’s nice to use. Used it on Kenevo SL’s and Levo’s and it’s great.

You also don’t get Microtune on the standard TCU where you can cycle support/peak power up (they set in Microtune to the same percentage) up and and down in 10% increments. For me this is the most useful feature rather than using Eco/Trail/Turbo.

It adds 6.8mm of travel by my calculations. 🤓 Not a lot but you might as well use it if you’ve got the option.

To check it fitted on mine I took the spring off, put the shock back in and moved it through its travel. I also used my weight to compress the bump stop to check for clearance on full bottom out. There was plenty of room.

What size is your KSL? I have a 65mm stroke shock on my S5 and have no clearance issues.
