    2023 Giant Trance X E+ / E+ Elite

That is correct and how both the new and old range extenders operate. Once you have used up the range extender there is usually about 10% of your main battery left. Need to be pretty close to your destination at this point.

Yes we are pretty much still in the dark ages in the USA. The little ' means feet over here.

That has been my experience. Not a huge deal as it takes less than 5 minutes to re-input the settings.

    2023 Giant Reign E+

~ 25-30 miles on typical mountain single track with 5-6K' of elevation gain, using level 3 to level 5 assist as needed. Not trying to extend range at all with average assist at level 4. I am 100 kgs riding weight.

Lets see your Giant ebike pics..

Really helped pedal strikes. Also like how it allows me to keep my feet closer together. Big thumbs up from me with no perceived downside.

How do I make my 2022 Giant Reign rideable? 😂

The Hope cranks are great and really easy to install and come with everything. They are spendy compared to some brands but are still very nice. You want them in the "standard offset". The ones made for the specialized bikes will not work.

How do I make my 2022 Giant Reign rideable? 😂

Ditto on the Hope 155s. Also went to a 2.8 Magic Mary on the rear and haven't had any real pedal strikes since.

Hope 155 cranks and 2.8 rear and haven't sniffed a pedal strike since. Love the cranks.

Has anyone tried some shorter cranks on their '22 or '23 yamaha px3 motor?

I have ordered a set of the Hope 155's in standard. They were available near me. I was also looking at some Miranda's but didn't have any in my area.

Has anyone tried some shorter cranks on their '22 or '23 yamaha px3 motor?

Thanks for the reply! I wasn't able to find anything specific to the Yamaha PX3. Will these be universal?

Looking to get some shorter crank arms for my '23 reign e+2. Anyone tried this and what did you use?

    2023 Giant Reign E+

That was the one of the first things I checked. They must have changed the plug alignment as it now has plenty of slack. When I get a chance, I will take a pic. No need for it at the moment as I am trying to get rid of the winter blubber and can't even begin to use up the 800wh before I bonk.

I have bottomed the fork out a couple times on some severe g=outs. I probably need to add some tokens as Trailaddict advised. Only issue I have had with the suspension so far. Sag is set for my weight but do need some more progressive dampening on the fork.

    2023 Giant Reign E+

Range extender fits perfectly and the cord plugs in perfectly with room to spare. Having 1050wh this summer is going to be awesome for really long days. I haven't weighed it as I don't have a decent scale and bathroom scales don't count. It does feel slightly lighter than my 2020 reign but I...

ANYONE Use the EnergyPak Smart 800 on a 2020 TranceE+1Pro?

2023 Reign e+2 with 800 wh battery. I rode 16 miles with only 1000' of actual vertical. Varied between level 3 to 5 as I wanted to keep it against the 20 mph limiter. Easy gravel route. Averaged almost 17 mph with a couple of short stops. Used 32% of battery and it said I have 40 more miles...
