I was so unfit that I'm definitely gaining... though not nearly as fast as my son who's on an amish hard tail. I am only 4 months off chemo so there is that too..., having the E bike is allowing me to ride as I only last on an amish bike for 30 minutes before I'm wrecked.

Shimano GR5 for me... I have wide feet and these shoes have a very very wide toe box. Excellent grip, so comfortable... first MTB shoes ive ever been able to actually wear.

Hi all, have an EP8 with about 300km on it and this forum is scaring me to death. Story upon story of people on their third, fourth or fifth motors or likewise for the batteries.
Should I EXPECT that mine is going to fail sooner rather than later? I'm almost considering going back to an amish...
Would also like to know this... I do plan to play with it myself though to work it out. My intention is for economy to match an amish bike, trail to match what ECO is now and boost will probably go to where trail is (given I ride with my son whos on a non e bike, so I can't go too fast anyway).
EMBN videos seem like nothing more than paid advertisements... never a bad review and they never cover things like how common it is for a certain motor to fail in a certain way. It gets glossed over in favor of focusing on more trivial things.
