Thanks guys - the puncture itself is definitely not 2 inches long - when I pulled off the patch of sealant I couldn't find the puncture. I'll just leave it and see how it goes.
I got a puncture today but didn't notice for a while as I was on tarmac on my way back from a ride. I had felt a few drops on my shins (bone dry day) and wondered what it was - it was sealant! I also peeled off some dried sealant from the tire that had dried into a small, thin patch a couple...
I've always been a road bike rider and while I am 62 now I still go on 25-50 mile road rides a couple of times a week. I used to ride more but have the emtb now as well. I can totally see getting something like this in the next few years to extend range and ride more hills. It is a slightly...
You can order invisiframe from the UK website - no hassle shipping to US. There are a few fitters in the US - west coast mostly or you can do it yourself.
Hi Paul - I (and, I'm sure, others) would be interested in the details of this conversion on your Levo. I appreciate your desire to offer information via email, but additional photos and problems/solutions on custom builds are always interesting reading - please consider posting for all!
I can't remember exactly but I think it may have been printed underneath the power switch which I had to take off to get the Mission Control 6-digit code.
UPDATE: It's on the serial number sticker underneath the top tube. Mine is March 18.
I took delivery of a base Levo a couple of weeks ago with an early March build date and it had all the changes mentioned here from the factory. Not sure about the wiring harness (or exactly how that has supposedly changed) as I haven't cracked the case open yet.
To answer your specific questions....
The 52.5 stroke is OEM by Fox for Specialized so not listed as a "standard" metric size. Your Specialized dealer/LBS can totally order the S-works Factory DPS shock in 52.5 stroke length from Fox even though it is not standard - at least my dealer could...
I am also planning on using this Marzocchi shock - rebuilt and custom revalve by Avalanche suspension (US). Did you have any issues with the 55mm stroke - did you set the flip chip to high? I was planning to use a spacer to shorten stroke to 52.5mm but extra travel would be good! Thanks.
I am doing exactly that. I have a base Levo on order. Some things I am upgrading immediately due to my size (6'3", 225 lbs) - like suspension, brakes, and wheels. The good part of replacing some things immediately is that take-off (new) parts can be sold on much easier than used. Wear parts...
I have a base Levo on order that I plan to upgrade. I was thinking of X01/11 but I will definitely get this even though I don't need 12 speeds. Just the derailleur though. I have had Di2 on my good road bike since it came out for Ultegra - derailleur adjustments since then = 0, hassle factor...
