It used to be 1.1kg for the 2022 and the 2023 is a shade lighter in carbon - Does the 2023 alloy have the lighter/stiffer linkage?

I'm sad the carbon comes with a 540w as it's the only reason I bought alloy. I shouldn't have trusted the dealer who swore blind that they would never put a 540 in the carbon as it violated the principle of the rise. I'm not sure exactly what you mean about drag - when pedalling the crank and the chainring rotate exactly unison. The only drag created is when you backpedal, whereas normally the crank should rotate freely backwards, with the boot it acts more like a conventional bike and rotates the chain...

It was unintentional. I just left the rubber ring on and then kept asking why is it that everyone keeps talking about motor rattle when mine is silent. Yes it is silent in all circumstances apart from the whirr of the motor obviously.

It's weird that my h15 ep8 does not rattle at all. It makes no noise of any kind except the whirr of the motor when under load. Perhaps newer ep8s have the problem solved?
