    Sad day for my Decoy

2020 29er Base or whatever they were called back then. Over the weekend I noticed quite a lot of play in the bikes backend, most probably because I've been riding another bike quite a bit that hasn't got anywhere near the miles on it that my Decoy has. So I noticed the difference in "feel"...

    Decoy Battery Connection

I've recently been experiencing some battery issues. Steps logo coming up for a couple of seconds then shutting down, that sorry of thing. 1 solitary e020 error. In trying to track down the cause I have noticed that some of the actual metal connectors in the block on the battery look like they...

    YT designers are sadists ;)

I've just had to run a new hose through for the rear brake, because I'm an idiot and I shortened the existing one too much, it must be a sadist that designed the hose routing. Into the back of the frame and then out into a empty air space of about an inch, a fairly sharp s bend into a piece...

    Decoy frame bearings

I'm trying to replace my bearings and I'm back looking for reassurance that the rear ones on the seat stay (by the mech and brake) are pressed in from the outside and pushed out from the inside. I've Tried in to out with a tool having the inner race and they don't want to budge thus far...

The button lights up when you spin the wheel backwards!

Anyone else noticed that if they spin the rear wheel on their decoy backwards that the button lights up for a short time? I noticed mine this evening because I had it upside down to fit a new tyre, refitted the wheel cranked the pedals to distribute the sealant around and then span the wheel...

Sorting the cables out on a UK Decoy

Does anyone have any photos they can share of how they have reorganised the cabling on a Decoy to suit a UK braking setup? The resultant rats nest from just swapping the levers over is annoying me but each time I take a quick look at how to tidy it up I end up saying "F..k it, Just ride it and...

29er DT Swiss Front Wheel bearing removal

Anyone got any hints? I've pulled off the end caps and tried pushing over the inner sleeve to be able to drift out the bearing but it doesn't seem to want to move and I don't really want to apply too much persuasion without checking first. It's on a Decoy Base and it's apparently a 370 hub...

Now what do I do with the box?

Got the bike, loving it. 3 rides in and no problems (so far, touch wood). I'm aware I'm meant to keep the box just in case but dammmmmmmm it's so big! Won't fit through the loft hatch, won't fit in the garage roof as it won't fit between the rafters it's currently being moved around the garage...

    Decoy 29er Owners, sizing concerns

Help! I've ordered a Decoy Base 29er in XL, I'm 5ft 10inches tall with a 31inch inside leg. My current bike is a G170S which has a reach slap bang in the middle of the L and XL Decoy but it's a 27.5. The G170S does not feel too big for me and in fact I used to have a Medium G160S that actually...
