Hi, There are already many people asking about restricting with the VPN. Assuming this fails, is there any real world experience of doing to via a speed sensor? I know it may void warranty etc, but will the motor know / fault? Thanks for any input!

I’m also interested to know if anyone has used a different speed. Sensor to derestrict it? Does it work? Does the motor start having a fit?

Hi, so to confirm, you have a Wild LT that you VPN’d and it has not worked and not gone over 25kph? Does it show the class 1 or 3 option in the menu now but stuck at 25kph? I am just double checking, my mate has a Crestline and he just did the VPN and now has both class 1 and 3 on his menu...

Really? That’s a massive bummer! What bike is that on? I’m looking at a Wild but I do not want it if it’s stuck at 25kph, I really think it makes a difference to my riding.

Does it allow you to change it to class 1 as in the US setting? That allows 32kph instead of 25kph

And I am talking from personal experience, I mainly ride in Europe not UK. I’ve ridden my bike on big downhills, and I’ve tried other people’s, and hitting the limit is like hitting a brick wall with your legs, it kills your speed and your flow.
