My 2023 9.7 is only seven months old so I hope I don’t need a new motor or battery any time soon, but I am interested if the new motor ‘fits’ the fuel exe frame and other components.

It’s the reason I bought an 2023 9.7 at the end of 2024. It was A LOT cheaper than the 2024 model. No regrets!

I was wondering the same thing... My motor is not loud, but I can definitely hear it. In low mode it's pretty silent. In higher assist when riding up steaper stuff, I makes a higher pitched (electric motor) sound. A whining sound....
