Has anyone replaced the bearings on your pw-x3 yourself? I see bearing kits for sale online. Do I need any special tools besides the lockring nut removal tool to remove the chainring, to replace the bearings? Also what grease did you use to re-grease the gears? Thanks

Are you referring to the speed sensor magnet or the sensor that is mounted to the rear triangle? I was having the same issue before and thought I had it resolved by cleaning the battery connector. It was running fine for a bit but I am now having the problem return again.

Looking to possibly upgrade to the transmission drivetrain. Does anyone know if the "Wolftooth Dropstop B" chainring will work and will I need to purchase the spider nut removal tool?

I lucked out and found a seller on eBay selling all the bearings as a set awhile back. They are the Enduro Max bearings. I have them ready for when the time comes to replace them.

Any updates on if the new motor resolved the issue?

I noticed the same on websites it does not state what tune the shock comes with.

I was sharing what I did, not telling anyone to do it. Do what you want it is "your" bike. It has been working for me.

I charged mine yesterday with the battery on the bike and did not encounter any charging issues. This is after the latest update. I have the 2023 Reign E. Sorry you are having issues, hopefully it gets sorted out for you.

I forgot to mention that I also cleaned the battery contacts with the electrical cleaner and let it dry completely before installing it back onto the bike. For dielectric grease I used a very light coat using a qtip to apply it to the battery pins you show in your pic.

Ok , thanks. I have used a thin layer of Super Lube dielectric grease on the plugs to the motor and battery contacts. I have cleaned the battery contact points with electrical cleaner and have not had issues since. Hopefully it helps you, like it did for me.

Did the dealer specify where to apply the grease? Searched for Velox grease and it seems to be not be available here in the U.S. . I wonder what the differences are from other dielectric grease?
