    My Best Friend; Canine Edition.

This is Ada, she is a 40mph couch potato who unfortunately has no interest in becoming a trail dog!

🚴 Why Don't You Ride to Work or for Everyday Commitments?

Commuting on my emtb would add 2 (boring) hours to my work day. It would cause wear and tear to my bike and driving my electric van to and from work costs about 60p a day so why bother. I ride my bikes purely for fun, riding to and from work in all weathers and temperatures doesn’t sound like...

    Helfare…..

I’ve got a couple of pairs and wear them a lot. They’re comfy and easily fit knee pads underneath and they have a pocket big enough for my phone unlike my Troy Lee ones.

    ID Buzz with bikes

We got a Buzz Cargo last month. I love it, I could probably get the bikes in with the front wheels left on but I like the security of bolting the fork to the floor and it takes very little time to get them in and out.

    Cranks

I’ve got a Whyte E160 and fitted Hope 155mm cranks over a year ago and they dramatically reduced pedal strikes.

Pi**ed of Shigura. What should I go for?

I’d also recommend Hayes Dominion A4. They’re the best brake I’ve ever had, I have Hope V4’s on one of my bikes which look better and probably have the same stopping power but I definitely prefer the feel of the A4’s.

(HELP) Newbie just made a Custom Chinese Full Carbon EMTB Beast for $3000. What do you guys think?

Each to their own but I’d much rather buy a decent used bike for around the same price.

    A uk tool company

They are pedelecs hence the no insurance needed. The photo does a good job of hiding the pedals and you have to expand the description on the website to find out what it actually is Read the description here Eskuta SX-250 Tourer Electric Bike - Matte Blue - Machine Mart - Machine Mart What a...

    A uk tool company

That is hideous and pointless, a pedal assist bicycle that looks like a scooter and weighs 54kg?!

    What a faff Whyte

I couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. I knew it would have driven me mad so I just whipped out the cable and bought an AXS post. I thought that would be kinder to my mental health if not my wallet!

    Rear disc below 1.5mm minimum.

There’s no way that would keep me off the bike (or from using the rear brake). Pads worn down to the metal yes, but the rotors too thin by a f#%*ys hair wouldn’t keep me in on a nice day.

    E bike... Alps

Me and my wife took our ebikes to Morzine last year and we’re going back again next month with them. It’s technique rather than strength to get them on to the lifts. If my 5 foot 4 wife can get a full fat Levo on the lifts then most people should be ok after the first few slightly embarrassing...

    Kenevo dilemma..

You’ll save yourself a fortune in the long run if you do the easy jobs yourself, you don’t even have to read a book these days. Just use YouTube.

    Santa Cruz Heckler SL

I love the look of the Heckler SL and would seriously consider one but I couldn’t live with the uncertainty of the Fazua. Onto your third motor in 1000 miles is crazy.

Two hour loops near Methyr Tydfil

The gap loop from Talybont-on-usk is really good, around half an hour from Merthyr, and the Blorenge near Abergavenny is a good route as well which doesn’t take long but has a great couple of long descents (also around half an hour from Merthyr). I’ve attached the gpx files.
