    Tannus tyre inserts

Been using them for years, no punctures, they do squash over time and need to be replaced even at 25psi. I don't deflate after every ride any more - too much of a faff! They don't seem to recover when deflated anyway.

Bosch Gen 4 Non Smart 504 caused by gearing?

To delete the error I would need the Bosch Software or a visit to the LBS every time.

Can I put a bigger chainring on it? Does it fit?

Reposted from my thread "Saga continues, Cube refused to change the programming (Via LBS) to suit a 44 chainwheel, the V3 Bosch software (latest)does not permit change of Chainwheel size or gear ratio changes. I was told the old software does allow this, but having found an LBS with V3 and V2 I...

Can I put a bigger chainring on it? Does it fit?

Cube Stereo 140. I first fitted a 38T, then 42T and now 44T (to address personal limitations). It works fine except the algorithm throws a 504. My LBS sent a B2B request to cube for modified software a week ago. The LBS did say that 'change chainwheel size' was an option in the old Bosch...

Can I put a bigger chainring on it? Does it fit?

Re-posted from another similar thread: "Other posts on here said that the chainring size can be changed in the Diagnostic software by LBS. However my LBS tried to do this but failed because, in its infinite wisdom, Bosch no longer include this option on their latest software update. We have...

Bosch Gen 4 Non Smart 504 caused by gearing?

I believe its the relationship between wheel speed and cadence which triggers the error, but it appears it can be re-programmed by LBS. Going to a larger front chain ring on a gen 4 motor "LBS said NO ISSUES at all changing from a 36T chain ring to a 38T chain ring but a 40T may be an issue...

How big a chainwheel does the Bosch Gen4 software go?

Bosch Gen 4 Non Smart 504 caused by gearing?

I have been riding with a bigger chainwheel for 2 years. When recently I replaced chain and sprockets I went up 2 more teeth on the chainwheel. This, I have been told, has caused an algorithm to be exceeded and a 504.

Bosch Gen 4 Non Smart 504 caused by gearing?

Hi, Is it true the maximum gear ratios, i.e., the smallest and largest gears, are filed in the drive system? Is it possible for LBS to enter the number of teeth for each individual sprocket on the cassette with a derailleur? The problem is caused by installing a larger chainring, because the...

    Bosch Gen4 (non smart) issue.

I don't think its speed sensor (spoke magnet) related as its a cadence issue not related to speed.

    Bosch Gen4 (non smart) issue.

Hi, yesterday I had an issue with my motor whereby the power tails off acutely and abruptly when my cadence exceeds a particular level - circa 60. Assistance returns when I pull a higher gear to decrease cadence. Has anyone else had this? What is the solution please? @Bearing Man

    EBC Pad Debond Failure

Hi, heads up to anyone running EBC pads, mine de-bonded causing an alarming run-away on a steep descent. EBC say they introduced measures to prevent this corrosion induced failure 10 years ago but obviously they're not working.
