    New Megamo Along

According to the guy I spoke to today in a bike shop, the new M2 motors have very little resistance once the limit is reached so they still pedal quite well above the limiter.

    New Megamo Along

It’s exactly what I’d aim to do with it. If it can do a steady 18mph it would be perfect. 15.5mph is just a bit too slow on the road.

    New Megamo Along

I’ve never been particularly interested in assisted road or gravel bikes but after seeing the Velduro Phantom with the flat bars, the new Megamo Along spiked my interest. Flat bars and the new Avimox M2 motor would make for a perfect commuter for me. The price is pretty much cycle to work...

Budget eMTB under £4k: Orbea Wild vs Amflow PR vs Trek Rail+8?

The list price for the 9.7 is £5500, not £4250 so it’s a considerable discount from rrp.

    Pic of the Day

Got out fairly early this morning to ride the Borrowdale Bash, the trails were deserted, didn’t see another rider on the whole loop. There was only signs of life once you got off the bottom of Catbells and were heading back in to Keswick. The Bontrager tyres that the Rail came with are rubbish...

    EMTB on Towbar Carrier?

That's an absolute must. When I've got the bike on the carrier and going anywhere it's locked to the carrier with a nice hefty Almax chain, if there's two bikes on there then they're locked together and to the carrier. Also, we never leave the bikes unattended when they're on the car, usually as...

    EMTB on Towbar Carrier?

I'm taking the e-bike with me when I go on holiday in a couple of weeks time and it'll be on a towbar carrier on the car. As it's the UK, there's every chance that it'll be raining at some point during the journey! I've seen comments previously about Bosch recommending some kind of cover over...

Rail (750Wh) Rail Gen 5 Wheel Upgrades?

Has anyone updated the wheels on their Gen 5 Rail yet? If so, what did you go for? I’m not convinced that my OEM Bontrager wheels will last much longer so looking to upgrade.

🚴 Why Don't You Ride to Work or for Everyday Commitments?

Very similar here. 12h shift and 5am starts mean the bike is a non-starter for my 34 mile commute. I ride is some days but only one way and drive the other leg. I'd looked at the flat bar Velduro Phantom and it would be a perfect commuter if it weren't for the 15.5mph restriction. If I ride my...

What are the best Bosch gen 5 bikes with a 800wh battery (or should I just go Avinox)?

The battery on the Gen 5 Rail+ is removed with a 6mm hex key.

What second bike would you buy for fitness? (gravel vs hardtail)

Depends where you're riding but a short travel, 120mm, full-sus is far better than a gravel bike for me. Gravel bikes are fine for riding on our potholed roads but not much fun elsewhere. I've got a lovely Pace RC429 hardtail for sale if that fits the bill for you? They run well with drop bars...

Rail (750Wh) AXS EP Battery Cable Install?

Thanks. It sounds like a bit of a pain so I might give it a miss and stick with just charging the AXS battery as normal.

Rail (750Wh) AXS EP Battery Cable Install?

I've got a T-Type groupset off another bike that I'm fitting to my Rail+ 9.7 and was thinking about installing the EP battery cable. Is the install a straightforward job? Do I need to remove the motor to attach the cable? I've tried looking online but not managed to find any installation...

    Bosch Gen 5 Lockring Tool?

Can anyone point me in the direction of the correct locking tool for the Bosch CX Gen 5 motor? I've had a Google and there seems to be a couple so I don't want to be ordering the wrong one!

    Bosch Flow Plus?

Just been setting up my Rail with the Flow app and noticed there's the option to sign up of the Flow Plus version for £3.99 per month. Is anyone using Flow Plus and is it worth it or am I better off sticking with my Garmin?

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Just cost saving, I guess. When I was looking at the higher spec 9.8 which was about £8.5k it still uses the basic display. I thought the top model would have it but seemingly not!

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Nothing too interesting, I bought some chain lube from the local Trek Store. Whilst I was in there I may have also bought my first emtb :ROFLMAO:

What did you buy your ebike this week?

That was the plan so there’s back up if there’s any issues. Might have to knock that idea on the head and just buy online instead.

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Never mind buying for the bike, I’ve been trying to actually buy a bike this week and it seems like no one stocks e-bikes! I’ve found one bike, a Trek Rail+, at a local shop but they’re £500 dearer than anywhere else. Even the local Trek Store doesn’t seem to carry any stock of e-bikes!
