2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

did you have a trampoline in the garage when you were a child?
I was raised well, I understood the changing of the geo could work, but doesn’t mean that the motor will support 45km/h, because of the firmware put on the motor by Orbea.

We will get normal M2S version on non RS type of Orbea Wild LT ???

Frankyspec has a good point, I’d like confirmation the bike can reach the 45 kmh he’s showing on the screen. Orbea said they put the trampoline in the garage. Nice big bouncy tramp but with a roof keeping you from using it to its full extent.

What is the context of this question? Is that a pic of a wild without the RS badge on the motor or what

As much as I enjoy speed, going fast, I am under the belief that a responsible approach to regulation is sensible. I see comments that Orbea is making a mistake with their approach to “VPN” options, I have to believe that they could be actually in a better position "in the grand scheme of things" in the near future. Just like Bosch eventually had to pay hundreds of millions in fines and completely rewrite its corporate compliance guidelines after Dieselgate, emtb motor giants know that turning a blind eye to easy tuning could be a threat to their business which is why I see Bosch being proactive as other companies in the short term are moving forward in a fashion that seems “deaf blind and stupid”.

If major markets begin requiring registration, plates, and mandatory liability insurance because the Class 1 category is deemed "unenforceable," the market will take a massive hit. The manufacturers know this, which is why some have chosen to visit the anti tuning choice as preservatin of the future rather than a short term loophole that could have repercussions.

A common justification among mountain bikers is: "I'm only using this on deep trail networks, not urban bike paths, so it doesn't matter." Unfortunately regulators don't look at where a vehicle is used; they look at its homologation (the legal classification under which it is sold). An altered Class 1 eMTB immediately loses its status as a "bicycle." Mechanically and legally, it transitions into an unregistered, uninsured motor vehicle or moped. France has already taken a brutal stance on this, introducing laws that allow for steep fines and even prison time for modifying an e-bike's speed limiters, along with immediate vehicle confiscation.

Riders who think they are outsmarting the system are actually accelerating the day the system locks them out of the trails entirely.

Why should Orbea do this?

You can run the Motor on full power if you want ... just make your own custom profiles with 130nm/1300w.

People aren’t really as concerned about that as much as whether the motor is restricted at Firmware level to lower assisted top speeds, regardless of what the Avinox software is saying on the top tube.

Yeah but that probably won´t change if they are going to get a non "RS" Motor ... maybe they should just stop whining and look for another M2s equipped Bike, there are more than plenty of them now.

I managed to finish assembling my bike today. Unfortunately, it’s been raining here for nearly a week straight, but hopefully I’ll get to test it out tomorrow.

Almost every part seemed to put up some kind of fight during assembly, but there it is—finished at last!
Now the bike is just waiting for the Peartune Speedbox to arrive, since I couldn't get the VPN trick to work despite several attempts.

Nice bike, i am still waiting the same MX Wheels

Where are you based?

Cool to see how that color looks in a different lighting. I went for the M20 in smooth silver, kind of wishing I went for the purple now.

You are lucky to get yours so quicly😊

You tried a VPN without any success for the limit speed?
Bought it from italy.

Yes tried to get that assist to continue to 45km/h. I tried to erase the bike clean several times and download avinox app with vpn on, but not be able to get it done.

Maybe you should download the avinox app very first time with vpn on. When i erased the bike and disconnected it from the app and deleted the app and pair everything again with vpn on, it still notices the last gps location here in Finland from the previous pairing somehow. 😐

The option to place MyO orders through the Orbea website is now available (at least in Spain), and estimated delivery dates for MyO orders as well as standard colors are displayed.

It seems I'll be lucky and the dates my store had will be met, and I'll have my Wild LT M-Team RS in the last week of July or the first week of August.

Can´t wait!!

How’s the paint quality on the new bikes? My mates wild from a few years ago looked like it was painted by a blind man.

They are finally available to order here in the US as well. Wasn't the case yesterday. My M10 won't be here until November...

Did your bike come with SRAM Transmission installed from the factory? If not, which cable did you use to connect the derailleur?

I've just got mine M20 and started customizing to my taste, still stock on the photo.
Amazing colour, did you weigh it stock?
