Hi everyone, I’m new to riding an eMTB. I hope to get tips and tricks from you all. In November I bought an REI CO-OP DRT e3.1 that was half off. I live in Washington state and I ride year round thanks to our mild winters.

I have the same bike and absolutely love it. The set-up is perfect for the rocky, rooty trails I ride in the Great Lakes region and New England. However, it is a big bike that has trouble when maneuverability is needed in tight single track.

What fender do you have mounted in the rear?

Nice bike but you can keep the mud. I rode through western Washington slop for 35 years and if I never see it again, it’ll be too soon. Enjoy your bike!

It looks very similar to the SKS Mud Rocker
