That is correct and how both the new and old range extenders operate. Once you have used up the range extender there is usually about 10% of your main battery left. Need to be pretty close to your destination at this point.

The Hope cranks are great and really easy to install and come with everything. They are spendy compared to some brands but are still very nice. You want them in the "standard offset". The ones made for the specialized bikes will not work.
That was the one of the first things I checked. They must have changed the plug alignment as it now has plenty of slack. When I get a chance, I will take a pic. No need for it at the moment as I am trying to get rid of the winter blubber and can't even begin to use up the 800wh before I bonk.:mad:
