The washer/spacer things I'm thinking can be seen in this thread here.

I guess if they were missing it would maybe make a difference but even then probably not as much as it seems your linkage is off.
I cant imagine why it would hit frame on that. The only reasons I could think of are that:
Shock is somehow longer than 230,
Shock not bolted to frame
The plastic spacer/washer things that sit in the bearings (if I remember right) might be missing.
The wishbone part of the linkage is somehow...
I assume the linkage is the correct way up?
Edit. Actually it looks correct.
I assume the shock is correct size.
I have an s5 too with a rockshox super deluxe ultimate coil. I don't have that issue.
Strange.
A Google will be your best bet to match your current bike. Maybe just compare yours to pics online.
Something like this maybe

It will be held on to the brake rotor on many bikes. Some bikes have it on the tyre valve I believe too.
The magnet basically tells a sensor what speed the wheel is moving and the bike then can provide assistance accordingly.
I weigh about 100kg with my kit and I'm running a coil. I think a coil is a really good option if you decide to move away from your float X2.
Seems odd you can't get it right though.
