Ex-roadie? Gross, but glad you’ve found your way to proper living. I hear you on the spacers, but after demo’ing a few Forbidden’s, I am now such a big fan of stack height, that I have to max them out.

Thats a tough one, as there isn’t a consensus on this thread. I think I’m one of the few that went a size larger than expected.

I really think there is some geometrical voodoo going on with Mondraker. They seem to fit smaller than the numbers.

RR owner here. To really ride as intended, at a minimum I’d upgrade: 1. Brake Levers (I ended up with XTR’s, huge improvement) 2. Shock 3. Wheels (keep in mind if your new hub has an HD driver, you’ll need a new cassette)

Oh, and I am not a fan of the 38. Had high hopes that the update solved the lack of mid-stroke support, but it has not. It is super noticeable switching from my Ohlins equipped bike to the Zendit. Unfortunately, the Era I was going to put on it does not have a long enough steertube…

After a few ‘harrowing’ rides on the Float X, I swapped it with the E-Storia off my Arrival. Not even tuned for the Zendit, and it was a huge improvement. I found the Float X got overwhelmed easily.

My truck can probably hit 220km/hr. I maybe max out at 150km if I’m passing on the highway, and boy does that V8 suck back the gas when doing so…

I find it is an accessible and forgiving bike, but it definitely shines if you can push it. Especially if you run it full 29 (which I do). For example, at one end of the spectrum the Dreadnaught E. It is awesome, but if one is not already a ripper, I do not think they would get along with...

    Amflow Canada

I lost the nut off one of my M2S mounting bolts. While I wait for my LBS to go thru the Mondraker dealer, I decided to try to buy thru the only Amflow dealer in Vancouver. I called each of their locations, and no one had any idea how to order or even contact Amflow. I tried to go thru your US...

One thing I am noticing about range, when comparing to other bikes in my group (including other M2S motors) is the 36T vs 34T ring nibbles a bit more power. 5-10% over a full battery ride.

Very exposed chainrings on Avinox bikes - what happens when you hit a a log?

This has also been my concern. I have had a few high speed hits on rocks, that surprisingly did not do any real damage. I wouldn’t worry about any logs on Bridle Decided that the day I damage the ring, I will replace the entire thing with the E-Thirteen set-up.

The dropper is not as bad as expected. Ive dropped down the list of replacement items on the RR.

Mountain Bike Lights for Night Riding that plug into AVINOX Display

Hi Gloworm, thanks for engaging us in the forum… Any chance you will offer a Higo connector for the light? Night riding here usually means wet riding, and I am concerned about water ingress @ the USB-C connection. It would also be much cleaner…

Size wise i think i am in the minority on the M/L. I am 5’9”, and have been riding M’s since the 80’s. On paper, the M was essentially the same as my S3 Kenevo SL, and was eagerly awaiting the med RR S my LBS had coming in, although the shop owner was convinced I’d be an M/L. In the meantime...
