Renthal vs One Up Carbon Bars

I replaced Renthal with OneUp. The difference is astonishing, and I'll not go back to Renthal. I'm even buying 35mm stems for my other bikes just so I can have OneUps all around. Yes, I wish they made a 31.8 tuned version.

Cassettes & Chains, a greater e-bike consumable than brake pads and tyres?

Running the first and only Shimano SLX 11 speed drivetrain complete--chain, chainring, cassette--on my Decoy, put into service August, 2019. I have over 2500 miles running around in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I'm 225 lbs, and every ride sees 2000'-4500' of gnarly vertical gain. I'm...

    E-specific cassette and chain?

I'm in the midst of a maximum lifetime test on my drivetrain. I've ridden my Decoy in the mountains for 2500+ miles with the stock Shimano SLX 11 speed drivetrain. Although the chainchecker shows it's toast, it's still going strong and smooth, saving a bunch of new chain/cog money and time along...

Is assist cutoff point related to the speedometer reading on the Shimano display?

I'm curious exactly how the processor determines cutoff, and if it's at all tied to the speedometer display. Is it RPM, wheelsize, gps?

    Ditch the zip tie fender...

The fender gave it purchase, like the mouth of a Labrador retriever.

    Finally made a decision!

Tire performance is enhanced without the friction of a tube. Lower pressure = higher performance. Reduced flat risk, thorn and other piercing objects are healed with automation provided by sealant. I've carried the same new spare tube on my Decoy for over a year.

Decoy top assist speed short changed

I think you miss my point: being short shrifted on max assist speed has nothing to do with range. I can choose to ride 2, 8, 12 mph. Or if my motor was properly optimized, 20mph. I’m fully aware how to conserve battery. Plus, If you’re riding at 18.5 mph all the time, you won’t get very far...

Decoy top assist speed short changed

Been riding and loving my Decoy for a year now, although it has never delivered the 20mph assist speed limit allowed in the U.S., cutting off completely by 18.5 mph. I consulted YT about this over the year, again recently when upon riding 2 other Shimano E8000 motor equipped bikes by other...

    Ditch the zip tie fender...

While those fenders do almost nothing, one thing they do is send you to the ER after being knocked out. In the hardwoods of Virginia, we ride through leaves and sticks. One of these sticks lifted up my front Minion and lodged in the fender up against the fork legs while traveling at 20 mph. The...

Anybody know how to reset pin number on Shimano etube

Which brakes would your chose, vote now.

Shimano being on or off is myth. SRAM brakes stink (Decoy came with Code, now Shimano 520 4 piston, infinitely better).

Steps e7000 Bluetooth not in menu

The 7000 doesn't have the option listed for some silly reason. You are able to pair within 15 seconds after turning the motor on. If you miss the pairing opportunity time, shut it off and back on again.
