Other Broken / Snapped shaft coil shock on Kenevo

Even after that the eyelet might give up. Keep a close eye on it on a regular basis.

Other Broken / Snapped shaft coil shock on Kenevo

Kenevo and Levo frames can be really hard on shocks. The only coil shock that I would consider with either of these frames would be the EXT E-Storia. 14mm steel chrome-plated shaft coupled with a beefy eyelet design prove their value in applications like this.

Am I the only one killing fat ebike hubs??

Acquire a proper hub like the Onyx Classic FAT. All the Onyx Classic hubs are rated for mid-drive motors with up to 1.5KW peak power output. Large hub shell bearings (a combination of 6805 and 6804 sizes in the ISO 6-bolt rear hubs) is also a big plus when it comes to reliability. Fat Bike...

Pole Bicycles Sonni or Voima will tick all the boxes, and plenty more.

DT Swiss HX 1700 long-term review

DT Swiss factory-built wheels are nice, but do not cross every box. First, even some of the heavy-duty wheels are still 28H which makes no sense. Secondly – and this is a bigger issue – DT wheels use alloy nipples which are known to be very soft, making serviceability quite poor. I can count at...

Levo Gen 3 Decent replacement shock for a heavier rider

EXT E-Storia – pricier than the options listed so far, but worth every cent. Compatible with spring rates up to 800lbs/in, the best damping performance that's found at the moment and durable construction, including chrome plated steel shaft.

    Standard DT 350 rear hub

You are welcome! After riding Onyx hubs everything else feels like a compromise. :p

    Standard DT 350 rear hub

It might be a hit-or-miss situation. If you are willing to consider ratchet parts as consumables and replace them when and if needed, then you're fine. If on the other hand, you are willing to invest more in the wheel department, Onyx hubs are hard to beat: instant engagement, silent when...

EXT E-Storia knock/clunk at full extension?

First, and foremost inspect that the frame with all of its linkages is in full working order. It would not be the first time when the reason for the dreaded clunk has been found from worn shock bushing, worn-out bearing or loose pivot bolt.

    Pole Vioma rear axle

Had a small batch of titanium rear axles made for Voima. Grade 5 titanium, made in Italy, sells for 139€ + shipping. Shoot an email to info(att)4130.fi if interested.

    Pole S-Onni (Sonni)

That's one way to see it. On the other hand, one could argue that their view is that "more is more" when it comes to the amount of suspension travel. The lineup has moved steadily towards that. Stamina and Voima are both bikes of the 1st order, especially the former!

    Pole S-Onni (Sonni)

Well, if can't come to terms with the fact that there will be something new, different – even possibly better – down the line, it's best to not buy anything. One would be 100% happy with the current option (whether it's a bike, a pair of sneakers, phone etc,) but the fear of missing out on...

EXT E-Storia knock/clunk at full extension?

A simple rubber seal that keeps the iFP – or in this case the bladder – pressurized. Kind of like a valve, but a lot more simple in construction.

    Looking for a mullet wheelset

To be more exact, the build process entails tightening and letting the spokes set under tension for 24 hours – three times. In other words, there's quite a bit more work involved when building wheels with Berd Spokes. In certain applications, it's well worth it, though. Regarding hub choices...

    Pole Voima 190mm Travel EMTB

One thing to note – if not known already – is that Unno frames are nowadays made in Asia. This is not to say that the manufacturing quality has gotten lower compared to the operations they had in Barcelona. Most people still assume that the frames are still made in their own facility, which...
