I had the same problem. Tried both. Eventually I was asked to do a system diagnostic with the app and it came up with sync drive error. Took bike into my Giant dealer and they confirmed there was a fault with the motor not talking to the display. They changed the motor . I rode bike home fitted...

I have finally resolved the issue. The problem was not the chips it was the Yamaha motor which had a fault in it which was not talking to the display even though the bike was working OK. So a new motor was fitted. Rode the bike home fitted the Volspeed and now bike is de-restricted. Had it in...

This is the reply I got from Volspeed.... Hi, we are not aware of that problem. But it seems that the tuning can't read the button press events of your charge display. Most likely the software version of the motor is not the problem here.. Could you please check if there is a purchase number...

I am still waiting for the Volspeed 2 to turn up. Apparently it was sent from Germany and there are delays in delivery.

Matey I think 2020 Giant bikes have issues with these chips. I tried a speedbox 2 on my giant explore E+2 and it did not work so they are sending me a Volspeed for Giant and tell me it will 100% work.. I should be hopefully receiving this tomorrow so will update
