I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the Muc-off prices. Even with supposedly 40% off their site most of the Muc-off stuff is still cheaper on Amazon.
I must admit that I hate the look of mud guards on bikes (and cars). I think they totally ruin the look of a nice bike.
But I wanted something for the front so I got the Fox fork mud guard for their 36 & 38 forks. I’m really happy with it. It screws directly onto the fork, it’s discrete and...
This is pretty much what Apple AirPods Pro do. They have a transparency mode that pumps in some of the ambient noise. They’re great for phone calls because you can hear your own voice properly rather than that muted sound you normally get with headphones.
You’d have no problem hearing what’s...
Mine is mounted on top of the headset and I knocked it off twice on my first ride. So I bought a little bumper on eBay with a little loop at the top. Now I have a little carabiner from the bumper to one of the cables so if it comes off it stays connected to the bike.
I’ll take a picture at...
Thanks, that makes sense. So I guess it’s not designed as an anti-theft deterrent because no-one would know you have the lock mode.
It’s just an inconvenience for any thieves and means the bike can’t be sold on etc if stolen.
I just updated my Kiox software through the app and the new Tour+ mode hasn’t appeared. Mine is a gen 4 motor, only bought a month ago.
Not a problem but I just thought I’d mention that it doesn’t seem to appear automatically with the latest software update.
Has anyone paid for this? I’m slightly confused because surely if you take your Kiox off your bike the motor wouldn’t be turned on and therefore wouldn’t work anyway?
Or does the motor still provide some assistance when the bike is turned off?
I assume this doesn’t actually lock the motor and...
I bought a Cube Hybrid 140 TM just over a month ago and I love it. Granted I’m not a particularly extreme rider doing big jumps and drops, preferring more flowing trails. Although it certainly seems capable enough if you want to do jumps etc.
My only word of caution would be that it’s a big...
Anyone worked out how to link their Komoot route to their Kiox display? I’ve read the theory but can’t seem to make it work. Will it only work if you have a premium subscription Komoot account?
My LBS fitted Invisiframe to my new bike a few weeks ago and overall they did a really good job. But there are a couple of places where the edges are not stuck down and look like they’re peeling slightly.
It’s not bad enough to take back to the shop, I was just concerned about the edges...
