I'm torn between getting a new Decoy with the larger battery and ep801 motor (plus various upgrades I will make) and a Transition Repeater PT.
The Repeater PT rides amazing down, although I am not sold on the auto shifting so I don't see that as a deciding factor. I can get the Decoy plus...
So I’m looking to replace my 2019 Decoy with a new model that comes with a 720wh battery and EP801 motor.
I currently have a large, and being 5’ 11.5” I’m right in between sizes.
I know the sizing topic has been covered a lot but I haven’t found anyone who has moved from a L to an XL. If...
So I have a 2019 YT Decoy with a E8000 motor and 540wh battery.
I use my eBike to climb up so I can have fun coming down. I don’t use it for trail/xc riding. Living at the base of a ski field and also having a bike park near by that I can bike up, the climbs last about 15-25min on road or fire...
I’ve currently got a 160mm Zeb on the front of my MX Decoy and I’d like to slacken it a little. Has anyone installed an angle headset and/or increased the travel to 180mm and could let me know if they like the change and if there were any issues?
I’m wanting to try a coil shock on my 2019 Decoy Base but have no experience with coil shocks.
I am looking at a RS Super Delux Ultimate Coil RCT 230x65, and it says it’s for a Jeffsy 27.5, with a M rebound and L compression tune. Will this be OK? There also another with a Med rebound &...
I had the first decent ride on my 2019 Decoy Base today and loved it. I’ve made the following upgrades...
1. Fox Float 36 Performance Elite Grip2 fork
2. Fox Float DPX2 Performance Elite shock
3. OneUp 800mm bars
4. OneUp 35mm stem + EDC tool
5. OneUp dropper lever
6. OneUp composite pedals
7...
I’ve just picked up the same bike and considering upgrading the shifter and or derailleur. Did you notice a difference going to an XT derailleur and did you change the shifter too? I am thinking Mayne just the shifter as that may give this biggest difference in feel?
So I have my first ebike on the way, a YT Decoy. I have been watching some YouTube videos and I saw that it was relatively easy to add Di2 to an ebike (the clip had the Shimano motor too which was very much plug and play).
I have Di2 on my road bikes and love it, but I’ve always thought it...
I've been on 29ers for years now and love them. They do feel a little different, but if the geo is right I don't really see any downside for how I ride. I can see people perhaps preferring the smaller wheels if they jump a lot, but I find they increase my confidence rather than reduce it. The...
I've looked at the Giants a little bit, but it seems that the chain stays on them are still really long making them less nimble feeling, I am assuming due to the size of the motor not letting them be shorter. While prob not a big deal, it seems that this is not ideal with other brands getting...
